This is incredibly difficult for our family, but we are looking for someone who may be able to give our female cat a loving home as soon as possible. She has been part of our family, but unfortunately she and our dog are no longer getting along, and the situation has escalated to the point where we don't feel it is safe or fair to either animal to continue living together. She would do best in a home without dogs, where she can have her own space and feel comfortable. We are not looking to just put her outside or give her to anyone—we really want to find someone who understands cats and can provide her with a safe, loving home. She is not currently spayed, so her new family would need to be willing to have that done. We are located in Yorkville and are hoping to find someone who could take her today. Meet Lotus. Lotus is an ~11 year old female DSH cat, all gray, who came to us after losing her home of 10 years. She only has two teeth left, and is just a quiet, low key girl who is looking for an equally relaxed home. She is not a cat for a loud, active home! ***FELV +*** ~15 weeks old female DSH brown tabby. VERY sweet! Meet Willa! Willa is a ~15 week old female kitten who arrived to us as an owner surrender due to no fault of her own. She is sweet, playful, loves attention, and uses the litterbox. She is a wild child like most kittens her age. Willa is looking for a special home. Unfortunately, after arriving to us Willa was diagnosed with FELV. We did have her retested, additionally with a PCR test and she is indeed positive. Willa will therefore be looking for a home with either other FELV positive kitties, or no cats in the home as it is contagious to other cats. She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and FELV/FIV tested. Prognosis for FELV positive cats vary, and right now Willa is otherwise healthy, and so we hope that given her test results and her current health status that she will have a regressive infection.
