Story

He is a sweet, affectionate, and playful gray tabby who has been part of our family for many years. I found him as a stray in Turkey when he was very young, and he has been loved and cared for ever since. He is generally calm, relaxed, and affectionate when he is by himself. He loves playing, exploring, and spending time with people. He is litter-trained, clean, neutered, and his vaccinations are up to date. Unfortunately, after living peacefully with our other cat for about six years, their relationship changed about six months ago. He began seriously attacking the other cat, including chasing, biting, and scratching, so we had to separate them for their safety. We tried different approaches, but they cannot safely live together. Importantly, he does not show this behavior when alone. We believe he would be happiest as the only cat in a loving home with attention, playtime, and space to explore. Finding him a new home is very difficult, but we want him to have a happier life.

Story

Hi, I'm Jack! I'm a handsome gray kitten with an even sweeter personality. I got a second chance at life after being rescued from Chicago Animal Care and Control with my family, just before we were scheduled to be euthanized. Now I'm safe, healthy, and ready to find the forever home I've been waiting for. I'm the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. I'll happily chase toys, explore every corner of the house, and then curl up beside you when it's time to relax. I love attention, enjoy being around people, and never pass up the chance for a good cuddle or a few chin scratches. Everyone says I'm as sweet as I am handsome, and I have to admit... I think they might be right. All I want is a family to grow up with, someone who will love me through every playful zoomie, every loud purr, and every cozy nap. I was given a second chance. Now I'm hoping that chance leads me straight to you. ##2777277##

Story

Hi, I’m Luca! I’m a little black kitty with a whole lot of love packed into me. I’m super sweet, incredibly affectionate, and if you start petting me, don’t be surprised if I decide you should keep going. I love attention and cuddling up with my people. I’m also one smart little boy. I’m curious, I pay attention to everything going on around me, and I’m already showing everyone what a special kitty I’m going to be. But my favorite thing is simply being loved—and loving you right back. I’m the kind of kitten who is going to grow up to be someone’s little shadow, cuddle buddy, and best friend. If you’re looking for a kitty who will absolutely adore you, I think you should meet me. ##2776082##

Story

Hi, I’m Poppy! I’m a beautiful black cat who was rescued from CACC with my babies. I was extremely sick when I arrived and wasn’t able to care for my kittens. The truth is, I didn’t really want much to do with them, or other animals. I’m looking for a home where I can be the only pet and have my space while I continue decompressing. I’m a bit of a wild child, and my rescue wants my future family to know exactly who they’re adopting. I can be incredibly sweet. I purr ridiculously loud, enjoy being pet, and clearly want love and attention. But I want affection on my terms. Sometimes I can go from enjoying attention to suddenly swatting/lunging. My rescue is still learning my signals and what triggers that switch. I’m not a bad cat. I’m a cat who has been sick, stressed, overwhelmed, and is still figuring out how to live comfortably with people. I need an patient adopter who won't push me when I've had enough and who is willing to learn my boundaries. I may never be the cat who wants unlimited cuddles, and that's okay. What I need is someone who appreciates the affection I choose to give and lets me decide when I'm ready for more. There is a very sweet girl underneath all this spice. You can hear it in my giant purr. I want to be loved so bad, I’m just still learning how to handle it. ##2773037##

Story

Lily is lovely and loves to snuggle in bed. She was a little bit shy at first but then after few days, she became very cuddly and friendly. Reason for rehoming: we have two under two babies and it has been a little hard to take care of all of them.
