Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter,
Story
I purchased Stormy from a friend of a friend. She is about 3 years old and is unfortunately not spayed. We weren't able to afford it so she is in constant heat. Because of the fact that she's not spayed she tends to pee and poop outside of the litter box. We've tried training her and she does use the box on occasion but she will still go to the bathroom everywhere. As much as it breaks my heart unfortunately I cannot keep her. She is very sweet although she only likes being petted on her terms. She will need a home where she will be loved and treated with a lot of patience. She does well with kids but it takes her some time to warm up to people and other cats when she's in heat.

Story
Mia – Female, 4 years old, long-haired dilute tortie. Don’t let my photo fool you. I’m a beautiful come-see-me cat that’s just waiting for the right couple or single person to come meet me. If you want to hear me purr, gently scratch the side of my face and then I’ll roll into your hand and start purring. My grooming habits are great! I’m a very quiet girl who would love a quiet home with a cat tree for me. I don’t thrive as a shelter cat but I would be a good candidate to foster-to-adopt. Please give me a chance to have a home and not be in a shelter. If you’re interested in meeting me, I’m in Room 3.As always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.

Story
Jessa – Female, long-haired torbie cat. I’m one of the most beautiful cats at the shelter.  However, I’m not friendly yet and need someone who would be willing to take me for a foster to adopt situation. I came in with my sister, Mimi Rose, but she got adopted. You can win me over by getting some wand toys and waving them around for me. I have good grooming habits and always look clean. It’s ok if you have another cat in the house, that could help socialize me faster. If this sounds like something you could do, please contact the shelter. I’m in Room 2.As always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.

Story
Miss Behavior – Female, 3 years old, long haired gray bullseye tabby. If you meet me on my own, with no cats around, I’m the sweetest girl you’ll ever meet. I was aptly named because I misbehave with other cats or sometimes, they pick on me. Now, as long as I’m the Queen in my new home, there’s no problem. I was in a foster home and did well. Guess I’m just not a good shelter cat. I know there are families or people out there who can only have one cat. Adopt me and I’ll give you much love in return, but you have to treat me like a Queen (you know, feed me, give me water, scoop the box, and don’t forget the treats). Have plenty of wand toys around and we’ll be the best of friends. If interested in meeting me, I’m in Room 4..As always before adoption, all cats are spay/neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, given distemper and rabies vaccines if old enough, flea and dewormer treatments if necessary.
