With patience—and Scraps showing me the joy of a good belly rub— I make strides in confidence every day.Speaking of my BFF Scraps, we are a package deal! We love to wrestle, cuddle, chase, and we will absolutely entertain you. Together, we are the perfect combo of playful chaos and sweet companionship.I am a `work-in-progress` cat. When I first came to Carmah, I was extremely shy but the volunteers saw possibilities in me. My foster and I have been making progress together. I want to find a home where I have the space and time to continue the process. When I first move to your home, I will probably hide while I get used to household rhythms, smells, sounds, and routines. I will slowly come out of my shell as I learn to trust you. I may always hide when new people arrive, or I might start to enjoy their company as well. I am gentle, smart, and very polite, a quiet observer of the world around me, and I love resting in sunny spots.I am also shy, slowly learning to trust humans. I`m not yet ready to be petted. However, one great way to bond with me is to play - I especially love laser time!I am looking for a calm home with patient humans so that I can continue to develop confidence and feel safe. Harley is a pretty girl who is very affectionate with people. She is litter box trained but does not like a dirty box, she will go outside the box if it’s not clean. She is deaf so please keep that in mind. She would do well in a home with no other pets where she gets all of the attention as she gets jealous and can be aggressive to other cats. Harley was left with me by a coworker who was moving. I have two other cats that are well bonded and they don’t get along. She would be great with someone who spends a lot of time at home who needs a companion. I can’t say if she is good with children because I’ve never seen her around them but she does love human affection.
