Story
Meet Maeve, a sweet and resilient kitty on the lookout for a loving home! Diagnosed with liver disease in January, Maeve was initially given a short time to live. Yet, here she is, thriving well beyond expectations! Thanks to her special prescription food and medication, Maeve's liver has significantly improved, and she's enjoying a stable quality of life. Maeve is a gentle, wise companion who delights in being close to her people. She adores belly rubs and shows her affection with gentle baths from her tongue. Maeve enjoys short bursts of playtime with string toys, usually just 5-10 minutes a day, but is equally happy to relax by your side while you go about your day. She’s quite vocal when she wants food, playtime, or just to let you know she’s claiming her favorite spot. With the right introduction, Maeve might also do well with another cat. If you have room in your heart for a special needs kitty who is truly a medical miracle, Maeve could be the perfect addition to your family. Story
You'll never find a cat as sweet and affectionate as Jessie! At 13 years old, this gentle senior's favorite hobbies are napping on your lap and eating snacks, and while he still enjoys a fair bit of playtime, he's more mellow than active these days. Jessie adores the company of his people, and he'll always want to be by your side. He also gets along very well with other cats! Jessie takes medication to help manage his heart disease--currently only aspirin twice a week, but there are many other options available and our adoption counselors will be happy to help you explore them. Story
Pumpkin is a sweet and lovely calico gal: estimated to be about 8-10 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and FeLV/FIV negative. She is a fun-loving, affectionate, friendly, talkative, and social girl who will make a great addition to most homes. She loves attention, stretching, and playing. After play, Pumpkin loves pets and will thank you with purrs and biscuits. Pumpkin didn't seem to love kittens in foster care, but she did appreciate hanging out with the calmer adults! Pumpkin would love a home where someone is home frequently to pay attention to her. Pumpkin has hyperthyroidism, which is easily managed with a pill every morning and night in her food, which she eats readily! The vet suspects she also has early stage kidney disease, which is managed by eating kidney prescription food. As far as special needs go, Pumpkin is a superstar in having easy to manage ones! This sweet girl is being fostered in Cambridge, MA. To meet this cat, fill out our simple prescreen (link below), and a volunteer will reach out to connect you with their foster parent! https://forms.gle/ZfhWg4o7sdGHTcf56 Be sure to check our Instagram for updates!

Story
Tootsie is a 10 (or maybe 12, math isn't our strong suit) year old cutie looking for a forever home where she can relax, be loved, and supervise all of your activities! Tootsie is an independent, wise companion who will make you feel special when she decides to purr or rub against your legs. She likes head and butt scratches while walking and will kindly tolerate kisses on her head while she's lounging. Like any shy lady, she will take some time to open up but she is very loving once she does. She's looking for a home who understands this and will work with her to build up her trust and confidence in a new place. Once she's settled, she will come to greet you when you wake up and when you get home. She also enjoys being a shoulder cat for brief stints, as well as window perches and heated blankets. Tootsie takes twice daily medication to manage her hyperthyroidism, which she takes like a champ. She is declawed in her front paws so she will need a gentler litter to keep her comfortable. Story
This handsome girl is one of the nicest cats you'll ever meet. She not only loves her people, but is social with visitors as well. She was surrendered by her owner after she let her outside and she got hit by a car, and she could no longer afford her care. While Fanny is 8 years old, don't be fooled - she acts half her age. During the day she plays with her toys, but spends most of the day looking out the window and watching all the critters run around, but from the safety of her cat tree. At night she enjoys sitting with her person on the sofa watching TV or being gently brushed. Watch your hands - she loves to give lots of those sandpaper tongue kisses! She is showing signs of early kidney disease, but it's easily managed by feeding her a high quality canned food-only diet. In her original home she did live with a number of cats but she was not happy, and wasn't big on interacting with them. She would spend her time with her human and loved sleeping on the bed next to her. Fanny is fully vetted and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225 and she is being fostered in Worcester.
