Story
A lovable girl who will make a great companion, Minerva is a sleek young classic tabby, so beautiful you’d swear she’s a CGI. While in PAWS care, 10-months-old Minerva gave birth to two adorable kittens who have since found their furever home, and after being such a caring and dutiful mom, she is ready for her own 'happily ever after.' An independent, sensitive girl who needs a moment to learn that you’re a friend, Minerva is fairly small, extremely athletic, very fit, and loves to play with dangly toys or cat dancers. She can be feisty with other cats, and she has not had any experience with dogs, so Minerva will do best as a solo pet. This confident cat knows what she wants and prefers attention on her own terms; but, once she’s settled in, she won’t hide under your bed; she likes to be where the people are. She enjoys the company of humans, and, once she knows you, will contentedly take a snooze on your lap. If you are willing to allow Minerva to set the pace, you will be rewarded with the company, and perhaps the affection, of a lovely, enigmatic little spirit who dances to her own tune. Minerva appreciates time to adapt to new places and would feel most comfortable in a quiet, adult-only home. Are you ready to let this kitty steal your heart? Apply today and we’ll contact you to discuss and make introductions.

Story
Affogato is lovable, affectionate 2.5 yo kitty who loves having his head and chin scratched. He is happy to be with his foster mom and doesn't mind her picking him up and carrying him around. Affogato is food motivated and has a healthy appetite. He is comfortable around his foster home's dog, but we don't yet know how he is with other cats.

Story
Every cat deserves a good home - is yours the right one for Pam and Flo? This bonded pair of felines is ready to find their permanent one. Flo, a luxurious soft gray, and Pam, midnight black, both with beautiful green eyes, are 8.5-9 yrs old. They met in a shelter, where they spent a long time, and are quite timid. They're good cats and would love a quiet home (no kids, no cats or dogs) where they could have their own space to enjoy the sun and lots of naps. Pam and Flo are perfectly happy just to keep one another company and do not seek out petting or laps. As their photos show, sometimes they're velcro kitties, and sometimes they want their own space. They need lots of time to build trust with their caregiver, one who will be patient and kind and understanding as they slowly settle in. Their foster mom lovingly refer to them as “my decoratives”. Do you know someone who whose home would be perfect for them?

Story
Meet Hurricane — our 13-year-old affectionate gentleman, lovingly called Cane. He may be timid and a little skittish at first, but from day one he's shown how much he enjoys human company. With just a bit of patience and kindness, Cane quickly blossoms into the sweetest lap cat. He has a wonderfully loud, rumbly purr — a true little purring machine — and loves curling up with his people. At night, he’s happiest sleeping on the bed, tucked close to someone he trusts. Cane can be a solo cat or join a multi-cat home, though he does seem to prefer humans over feline company and can be a bit standoffish with other cats. Despite his age, he’s got great energy and great health: he plays with catnip toys on his own and will sometimes join in for wand-toy playtime too. If you're looking for a gentle, people-loving companion who just wants a warm lap and a soft voice, Cane may be your perfect match!

Story
A gentle soul with a heart full of love, Dale is a comforting presence. He is an affable boy who may need some time to warm up to unfamiliar faces, but once he does he is eager to call you a new friend. Dale is deeply affectionate, expressing himself by giving love (head) butts and purring. He likes to be close to his people, even sharing your sleep space. If you want to toss him a treat, he wouldn’t be mad about it, he is a total foodie. Because he loves humans so much, he would do best in a home where someone is around often to shower him with the attention he craves.
