Story
A lovable girl who will make a great companion, Minerva is a sleek young classic tabby, so beautiful you’d swear she’s a CGI. While in PAWS care, 10-months-old Minerva gave birth to two adorable kittens who have since found their furever home, and after being such a caring and dutiful mom, she is ready for her own 'happily ever after.' An independent, sensitive girl who needs a moment to learn that you’re a friend, Minerva is fairly small, extremely athletic, very fit, and loves to play with dangly toys or cat dancers. She can be feisty with other cats, and she has not had any experience with dogs, so Minerva will do best as a solo pet. This confident cat knows what she wants and prefers attention on her own terms; but, once she’s settled in, she won’t hide under your bed; she likes to be where the people are. She enjoys the company of humans, and, once she knows you, will contentedly take a snooze on your lap. If you are willing to allow Minerva to set the pace, you will be rewarded with the company, and perhaps the affection, of a lovely, enigmatic little spirit who dances to her own tune. Minerva appreciates time to adapt to new places and would feel most comfortable in a quiet, adult-only home. Are you ready to let this kitty steal your heart? Apply today and we’ll contact you to discuss and make introductions.

Story
Meet Chess, an adorable 1-year-old bundle of love who is at the Kitty Cat Cafe in Peabody This fluffy tuxedo was rescued as a stray in the same area that Ms Suits, a fellow cat at the cafe, used to live. This shy boy prefers to rest inside of his comfy bin at the cafe, snoozing away the hours. He can be quite shy and jumpy, so he can take some time warming up to strangers. After he does, he’ll waste no time activating his purrs and showing off his luxurious belly! As soon as you give him a few pets, this adorable boy will begin to make biscuits on his special blanket or even in the air! Chester can get a bit feisty if given too much love, and is most comfortable if he can sniff your hand before you touch him. He prefers light pets and mild face rubs as supposed to hugs or any other rough play. Much like some of the other cats in the cafe, Chester can easily fall for some delicious Churu treats!

Story
Every cat deserves a good home - is yours the right one for Pam and Flo? This bonded pair of felines is ready to find their permanent one. Flo, a luxurious soft gray, and Pam, midnight black, both with beautiful green eyes, are 8.5-9 yrs old. They met in a shelter, where they spent a long time, and are quite timid. They're good cats and would love a quiet home (no kids, no cats or dogs) where they could have their own space to enjoy the sun and lots of naps. Pam and Flo are perfectly happy just to keep one another company and do not seek out petting or laps. As their photos show, sometimes they're velcro kitties, and sometimes they want their own space. They need lots of time to build trust with their caregiver, one who will be patient and kind and understanding as they slowly settle in. Their foster mom lovingly refer to them as “my decoratives”. Do you know someone who whose home would be perfect for them?

Story
Meet Eppie - Your Gentle Shadow and Forever Companion Eppie is a beautiful black female cat with the softest eyes and the sweetest soul. From the moment you meet her, you’ll notice her gentle nature and her constant, soothing purr-her own special way of saying, “I’m happy you’re here.” Although she does not like to be picked up, she loves being pet. She is the kind of cat who doesn’t just live in your home, but truly becomes part of your life. Like many sensitive and thoughtful kitties, Eppie takes a little time to settle into new surroundings. Give her a couple of days, a calm space, and some gentle reassurance, and she will slowly begin to show you her true personality. And once she does? She will completely steal your heart. When Eppie gains confidence, she blossoms into the most loving, loyal, and affectionate companion you could ever wish for. Eppie is wonderfully easygoing and not demanding at all. She doesn’t constantly ask for attention, yet she always wants to be near you. Whether you’re working, relaxing on the couch, or winding down for the night, Eppie will quietly choose a cozy spot close by. At bedtime, she loves to sleep on your bed—carefully curling up without taking over your space-just close enough to remind you that you’re never alone. Once she feels safe and settled, Eppie reveals her playful side. She enjoys chasing toys, batting at strings, and having little bursts of joyful energy. At the same time, she is perfectly happy being a “couch cat,” lounging beside you during movie nights, lazy weekends, or quiet afternoons. She has a calm, chill personality that makes her an ideal companion for both active and relaxed households. What truly makes Eppie special is her emotional presence. She has a remarkable way of making you feel loved and comforted. She will follow you from room to room, sit nearby while you work, and greet you with soft purrs and gentle affection. She offers companionship without pressure, love without conditions, and loyalty without limits. Eppie is the kind of cat who becomes your little shadow, your silent supporter, and your best friend. She will never make you feel lonely. Instead, she will fill your home with warmth, calm, and quiet joy. If you are looking for a gentle, affectionate, low-maintenance companion who will bring love and peace into your life, Eppie may be your perfect match. All she needs is a patient heart and a loving, very calm and quiet home with no children—and in return, she will give you endless devotion and cuddles for years to come.

Ragnell is a shy 1yo female with a beautiful calico coat. She is at the Kitty Cat Cafe now where they are spending a lot of time talking to her and giving her slow blinks to get her feeling braver. She has started accepting pets and meeting some of the friendlier cats at the cafe. Before going to the Kitty Cafe Ragnell had bonded with her foster, so we are confident that Ragnell will overcome her initial shyness with time and patience.

Story
Joni Mitchell is a sweet, soulful kitty with a name that hints she might break into song at any moment (don’t worry, she keeps her performances to gentle purrs). Joni is a soft-hearted sweetheart who loves cozy corners, warm laps, and observing the world like she’s gathering inspiration for her next great masterpiece. She’s affectionate and loves attention from her audience - chin scratches are her favorite! She’s ready for a forever home of her own. Give her love, snacks, and a sunny window, and she’ll happily write her next chapter with you. Joni would do well with cat-savvy children and friendly cats. Dogs are an unknown. She has excellent litter box manners, a healthy appetite, and is truly an easy companion who will bring joy and playfulness to her new home. If you’re ready to add a little melody to your life, Joni Mitchell is ready to meet you.
