Story
Juniper is an incredibly friendly, outgoing and lovable cat. He always has so much love to give and doesn’t have one aggressive bone is his body. All he wants is to do is snuggle in close and be your best friend. Unfortunate living circumstances lead me to rehome him and that breaks my heart, but I have no doubt that he will make an excellent member to any family looking for a friendly feline.

Story
Meet Snooki! Snooki is a gorgeous tabico with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s equal parts cuddlebug and diva—sweet as can be one minute and giving you the “that’s enough, human” look the next. Don’t worry, her famous little “swipes” aren’t mean—just her polite way of saying, “Please, I need some me time.” This girl knows what she wants, and honestly? We respect that. She loves a good snuggle session when she’s in the mood, and she absolutely lives for interactive play. Wand toys, feather teasers, catnip mice—Snooki is your go-to gal for a rousing round of chase-the-string. Snooki was found in a motel parking lot in Royal Oak, but you’d never guess it now—she’s traded that street life for the good life, and she’s ready to find her forever stage. She can be cautious with new feline friends but may do just fine with a slow intro to another chill cat. She’d thrive in a calm, steady home where she can get plenty of attention without too much chaos. An experienced cat person who understands her sass and loves her for it will be her perfect match. Snooki isn’t just a cat—she’s a whole vibe. If you’re looking for a little sass, a lot of love, and endless entertainment, she’s your girl. Snooki is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Story
Hi, I’m Jayne I’m a sleek little house panther with just a tiny white spot on my chest—like a secret signature so you can tell me apart from the other shadows in the room. I was born outdoors, but I was lucky enough to be rescued and grow up safe and cozy inside. Let me just say… indoor life is the best. Soft blankets, steady meals, toys that crinkle and jingle? I’m thriving. I get along great with other cats and even dogs. I’d love to be adopted with one of my siblings so we can keep our cuddle piles going strong. If that’s not possible, I’ll need a home with another friendly, playful kitty. I’m not meant to be a solo act—I like having a partner in zoomies and naps. Now, about my personality: I’m silly, playful, and full of fun. I take playtime very seriously. Be warned though—sometimes when I’m feeling extra excited, I’ll grab onto your arm and refuse to let go (all in good fun, of course!). I just get a little enthusiastic about life. When the zoomies wind down, I’m all about the snuggles. I love curling up with my people and my siblings, soaking in the warmth and purring away. If you’re looking for a playful little panther with personality, affection, and just the right amount of spunky charm, I’m your girl. Jayne is currently in a foster home.

Story
Hi, I’m Toni I’m a pretty tabby girl with a soft heart and an even softer spot for laps. My story began in Southgate, MI, where my brother Sam and I were found together. From the very start, I was the snuggly one. Even as a tiny kitten, I would climb right into a lap and stay there for hours like it was my full-time job. Once we were rescued, I settled into foster life quickly. Safe spaces, warm blankets, and loving humans? Yes, please. That’s when my sweet personality really got to shine. I adore cuddle time and will happily melt into you the second you sit down. If you’re looking for a professional lap cat, I come highly qualified. I love my brother Sam and would absolutely love to be adopted with him. We make a wonderful pair and bring out the best in each other. If that’s not possible, I’ll need a home with another friendly kitty so I can still have a companion to play, nap, and share cozy moments with. I’m gentle, affectionate, and happiest when I’m close to my people. If you’re ready for a loving little shadow who will fill your home with warmth and purrs, I’m your girl. Toni is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Introducing Boris and Ned, the comedy duo of the cat world! These two furballs are like the Laurel and Hardy of the feline realm, with antics that'll have you rolling on the floor laughing - and occasionally scratching your head in disbelief! Despite their FELV+ status, Boris and Ned tackle life with the enthusiasm of a kitten on a caffeine high. They're the kings of cat capers, always concocting harebrained schemes that leave their humans both amused and slightly bewildered. From impromptu acrobatics to daring escape attempts from the dreaded vacuum cleaner, these two are a non-stop source of entertainment. Their friendship is as solid as a hairball in the middle of the living room floor. Boris is the brains of the operation, always coming up with the next harebrained idea, while Ned is the lovable goofball who's just along for the ride - usually with a toy mouse dangling from his mouth. When they're not busy causing chaos, Boris and Ned are masters of the snuggle game. Picture this: two cats, curled up together like a pair of fuzzy yin and yang symbols, purring in perfect harmony. It's enough to make even the grumpiest of grumps crack a smile. And don't let their diagnosis fool you - these two are social butterflies who wouldn't hesitate to charm the whiskers off anyone they meet. Whether it's cozying up to a friendly dog or engaging in a game of "chase the laser pointer" with the kids, Boris and Ned are experts at winning hearts wherever they go. So, if you're in need of a daily dose of laughter and love (and don't mind the occasional hairball), Boris and Ned are the purrfect pair for you. With these two by your side, every day is guaranteed to be a riotous adventure filled with laughs, snuggles, and maybe just a hint of catnip-induced mayhem. *Located in a loving foster home in Monroe, MI. Can be adopted separately but would prefer these two go together! Adoption Fee: $125 - Helps offset the costs of vet exam, neuter, distemper and rabies vaccines, FIV/FeLV testing, dewormer, and microchip. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
🐾 Meet Jazzy 🐾 ~2 y.o. Female | Spayed | Fully Vetted Jazzy… is a lot of cat. And we mean that in the most loving, honest, slightly chaotic way possible. When Jazzy first arrives in a new home, she is spicy with a capital S. She needs an adult-only, only-pet home, and she absolutely requires time, space, and the patience of someone who understands that trust isn’t built overnight. She may hiss. She may bite. She will definitely test your commitment to the “decompression period.” But here’s the thing about Jazzy… If you give her that time and respect her boundaries (mostly just ignore her sass), she transforms. The spicy chaos melts away and reveals the funniest, weirdest, most playful and devoted love bug underneath. Treats and catnip are the fastest way to her heart, and she loves her toys, which she carries with her in her mouth and to bed. Once Jazzy decides you are her person: - She will snuggle with you for hours; - She becomes deeply affectionate and loyal; - Her silly, nutty personality fully shines. She isn’t shy. She isn’t subtle. She is big feelings in a small tortie-powered body—and for the right human, she is incredibly special. Jazzy is: ✅ Spayed ✅ Vaccinated ✅ FIV/FeLV negative ✅ Microchipped ✅ Perfect litter box user Jazzy is not for everyone—and that’s okay. But for the patient, cat-savvy person willing to let her bloom on her own timeline, she will become a deeply loving, one-of-a-kind companion you’ll never forget. Up for a challenge? Ready to earn the love of the world’s most rewarding little psycho? Jazzy is waiting. 🖤 *Located in a loving foster home in Royal Oak, MI. *Adoption fee: $150 - helps to offset the cost of the veterinary care provided through our rescue - wellness exam, spay, vaccines, microchip, combo testing and dewormer. *Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Cat
