He is 1 year old and loves spring toys and watching birds from the window. Please consider giving Carson a forever home with his sister Chloe. Looking for Ohio adopter.   9/25/2023 Carson continues to trust more every day and has started seeking attention. He is still a work in progress and needs a patient adopter willing to work on gaining his trust.   4/24/2023 OHIO Carson was found as an abandoned 5 week old kitten. We have worked with him gaining his trust and he is affectionate once he trusts, He is beautiful light grey tiger with white markings. He needs an adult only adopter who is willing to be patient to continue gaining Carsons trust and build his confidence. He lives in Ohio so we are looking for an OHIO adopter. I came into the rescue along with my sister, Harlem, after my loving human passed away.  My foster Mom says that Harlem and I are bonded and need to find a family who will welcome us both.  While with the rescue, I've had all my medical made up to date - I'm estimated around 3 years old. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and I'm ready to find my family! Here's the important stuff about me: I'm a very sweet girl, not a mean bone in my body! I'm good with other cats and dogs. I'm good with kids as long as they respect my space and can interact appropriately with me. &#239&#184&#143I'm mellow and talkative with my people! I'm goofy and I'm sure to make you laugh! Sometimes my foster mom calls me Macy Moo, Miss Macy, or Macy Ann for when I’m being a stinker   I’m definitely a silly cat and I love to find hiding places. I love playing with feather sticks. I get along with others that are calm (and have treats). My fur feels like velvet and you might fall asleep petting me. I can be shy at times so please be patient with me. Please welcome Mama!!   Located in Howell, MI, Mama is a very happy young lady who is talkative and loves attention.  Some of her enjoyments include laying on your lap, nuzzling into the crook of your arm and making biscuits.  She loves her food and uses her litter like a champ!  She is fully vetted, spayed and negative for FeLV, FIV and Heartworm. Sadly, Mama came from a hoarding situation and had a very difficult adjustment once she came to Purrs Abound.  For that reason, Mama is looking for a patient and understanding family.  While Mama lived with numerous other cats in the hoarding home, we don't know how well she interacted with them.  Mama's son is currently bunking with her in her foster home and, sadly, Mama doesn't really like him.  With proper introductions, Mama may adjust well to a mild mannered resident kitty.   Mama's foster Mom feels that Mama will do best in a home with older children who will learn and understand her boundaries as she can easily be overstimulated if you aren't paying attention.  Mama has blossomed in her current foster's home and we feel that she is ready now to move on to a forever home where she can be the center of attention.                       Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 5, 2025, 4:22 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.PURRS ABOUND SIAMESE RESCUE OF MICHIGAN,INC.Hi!  I'm Sky.  My Mom and 4 sisters came to Purrs Abound when our Mother's rescuer could no longer care for us.  I love to be in high places....that's why I was named Sky!  I'm a natural-born climber who loves to explore high spaces to find perches.  My ideal forever home will provide me with lots of high perch areas to explore without fear of breaking anything or being scolded. I am told that I am a mellow soul.  That's true, as I love hanging out with the family and just watching from above but, depending on my mood, I also won't say no to pets when offered.  I would love to be adopted with one of my family members who are also available.  Otherwise, I've had experience living with all of my Mom and sisters but I have not been exposed to dogs.  My Foster Mom thinks, though, that I may be okay with a low-energy doggie companion, especially one who is cat friendly.  The same is true of children.  Older kids or those who are experienced with treating a beautiful girl such as myself with respect may be okay.
