Story
Skye (and Manty) are sister cats and are definitely a bonded pair. I adopted both (separate profile for Manty) in 2020 when they were kittens. It took awhile for them to get used to their new environment, but they eventually warmed up. They love belly rubs, playing with cat toys, and chasing each other around the house, having fun. She and her sister have been really good about not scratching up my furniture or having accidents anywhere except in their litter boxes. I need to find her and her sister a loving home. Someone that will continue to care for them and give them the attention they deserve. They are not outdoor cats. They have no interest in going outside, but really do love sitting in the window and watching the world. Since they are sisters, I will not split them up. They need each other and I want to keep them together. If it wasn't for the fact that my fiance has severe allergic reactions to cats, I would not be looking for another home for them.

Story
We adopted Tamoura 2 years ago from the local shelter. She was about 1 year old then so that would make her about 3 years old now. She’s a very social, playful cat. She loves to play and get brushed and do biscuits on you when she gets warmed up to you. She also loves to get cuddly under a blanket with you. She loves attention in any form. She’s very sweet and has never scratched or bit. She’s always used her litterbox and is very clean and well-behaved. We are looking to rehome Tamoura because we are both busy with our jobs and are out of the house for almost the entire day which isn’t fair to her. She is up to date on her shots and is spayed.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Catori is an affectionate tuxedo kitten with movie-star looks and a heart of gold. He’s toothless (don’t worry—it doesn’t slow him down one bit!) and extremely people-oriented once he feels safe. Pick him up and cradle him like a baby? Yes please. He’ll melt right into your arms and purr away until you decide cuddle time is over.   This little guy lives for love and attention. He enjoys flopping onto the floor to show off his belly and soak up pets, and he’s never shy about asking for affection. Catori has a great appetite and is highly motivated by food, which makes him both easy to bond with and fun to spoil.   Playtime is one of his favorite things, especially with other confident, outgoing cats. He may be a bit too enthusiastic for a shy feline friend, but he thrives with cats who can match his energy. He’s also fine with dogs, provided they respect his space and don’t chase him.   Sweet, social, and endlessly charming, Catori is ready to bring cuddles, purrs, and joy into his forever home.     If you are interested in adopting one or more of our lovable cats, please complete an Adoption Application form which can be found on our website at www.locrami.com under Forms/Applications. If you have questions please email info@locrami.com. Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescued cat. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Edith! Edith is a gorgeous long-haired calico, about five years old, whose gentle soul has weathered a difficult past. She was rescued from a cat colony in Detroit, living rough on the streets with her adult daughter, Esther. When a kind volunteer noticed that both were friendly — and both expecting kittens — she brought them to safety in foster care. When Edith arrived, she was weary and unsure of this whole “indoor life.” She was sick with an upper respiratory infection, her fur was matted, and she was covered in grime from surviving outdoors. Yet through it all, she was patient and tolerant — just distant and guarded. She allowed her foster mom to clean her up, give her medicine, and trim away the tangles, even if her heart wasn’t ready to trust yet. Over time, Edith began to soften. She learned that gentle hands meant kindness, and that love could be safe. After twelve weeks, she finally approached on her own — purring, rubbing for affection, and accepting love freely. Her foster mom cried happy tears that day. Edith has shown extraordinary compassion, not only raising her own kittens with care but nurturing her grown daughter, Esther, as well. The two share a remarkably close bond — Edith can be protective of her, and they find great comfort in each other’s company. Now, Edith is ready for the next chapter: a peaceful, patient home where she can continue to blossom. She’s calm, affectionate, and deeply loving once she trusts you — a living reminder that even the most guarded hearts can heal with time and kindness. Edith does need a daily probiotic and lysine to keep her healthy and happy! All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer. You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township. If you are interested in adopting one or more of our lovable cats, please complete an Adoption Application form which can be found on our website at   www.locrami.com under Forms/Applications.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 26, 2025, 2:13 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Esther! Esther is a one-year-old domestic short-haired beauty with a sweet spirit and a heart full of courage. She was rescued alongside her mother, Edith, from a cat colony in Detroit where they were both living rough on the streets — and both pregnant. A caring volunteer saw how friendly they were and brought them to safety just in time for each to have her babies in comfort and love. While her mother was shy and cautious at first, Esther quickly showed her outgoing side. She adjusted to indoor life with curiosity and grace, immediately trusting her foster mom and greeting every new experience with bright-eyed enthusiasm. Esther went on to give birth to six healthy kittens, proving herself to be a devoted and nurturing young mother. Even as her kittens have grown, Esther remains affectionate and playful, always ready for pets or attention. Esther would thrive in a loving home where her friendly nature and gentle warmth can shine. Her ideal home would be quiet and have a relatively low traffic and activity. Her time living outdoors in a cat colony has made her cautious to loud and sudden noises. Esther receives  a daily dose of a probiotic and lysine supplement to keep her healthy and happy! All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and dewormer.
