Meet Ollie: A Whole Lot of Orange, Personality & Love
At just 14 months old, Ollie is a big personality wrapped up in one handsome orange package—and he’s been waiting far too long for someone to see what a special guy he is.
Ollie first came into rescue, found his forever home, and unfortunately found himself back with us when life with the resident cat just didn’t work out. Since returning to the Catfe, he’s made one thing pretty clear: he’s much happier when he doesn’t have to share his space with other kitties.
And honestly? That’s okay. Some cats are simply meant to be the one and only—and Ollie is ready to embrace that role.
Because when it comes to people, Ollie is all in.
He’ll happily saunter right up to Catfe visitors to say hello, and volunteers have caught him lap-hopping, soaking up attention, and loving on his favorite humans. He’s curious, confident, clever, and loves being part of whatever his people are doing. He even has a little dog-like streak—he’s learned to sit, stay, follow house rules, and ring a bell when he thinks treats should be involved.
Ollie is an active, intelligent boy who needs more than a bowl of food and a sunny windowsill. He loves chasing lasers, batting little balls around, working his brain, and entertaining himself with corkscrew toys. Give him a challenge and he’s ready to figure it out!
He also has a strong personality and can become overstimulated, so he needs someone who understands feline body language and will respect his signals when he’s had enough. Ollie would do best with an experienced cat person in a calm, adult home where he can be the only pet. He should not live with children or other animals.
But don’t let his big personality fool you into thinking there isn’t a soft side underneath it all. There absolutely is. Ollie loves his people. He wants attention, companionship, enrichment, and a home where he can finally be understood for who he is.
He keeps getting overlooked at the Catfe, and we just can’t figure out why.
