Story

Gertie and her littermate Gracie are 9-year-old spayed calicos. They are exclusively indoor cats and are bonded to each other. Gertie is more social than her sister and likes to sit on your shoulder. Gracie will sneak in for affection when Gertie’s not looking. They play-fight from time to time but they’re often asleep on the same chair or bed. They both have mad parkour skills when they get the zoomies. Gracie once hit my bedroom light switch at 2am and scared me half to death. They like to hop up on the bathroom counter and drink a little bit of running water. They have a small Facebook following from their yearly antics with my nativity scene. They must stay together and be indoor cats. I’m sad to rehome them, but my life is in some upheaval right now and I can’t give them the attention (and vet care) that they deserve. I want to find a home and a person who will love them the rest of their days.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Podge is brother to Hodge and the two of them were found at a local trucking firm when they were seeking shelter from the cold weather in early January, 2015. As of 2016, Podge is about a year old. When he first meets you, Hodge is a little bit on the shy side. After he has been around you and knows you, he seeks you out for attention. He is neutered, current on shots and microchipped. This little guy will be adopted as an INDOOR only cat. His adoption fee is $50. He has tested neg for feline leukemia, FIV, & heartworm,. These felines were living in pretty bad conditions with no reliable source of food or water. They are doing quite well here at MCHS, but they are people shy. Deli has tested neg for feline leukemia, FIV, heartworm and is spayed and current on shots. Piper is a  very shy girl.  If you are interested in adopting her, she will require lots of patience and time for her to adjust to a new environment.  Piper tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV, is now spayed and is current on shots and dewormings. She will be adopted as an INDOOR only cat and the adoption fee is $50 (or 2 cats for $75). A pet porter is required at the time of adoption.
