Story
“If you are very strong, you must also be very kind.” – Pippi Longstocking. I would love to go home with someone who is very kind. People here are very caring. I’m Pippi and I am estimated to be around 1 1/2 years old. I came to Paws and Claws from another rescue with two other kittens, Monkey and Jesse, who have already been adopted. I tend to be a little bashful, but I`ll be thrilled if you pet me. I like to talk, and I like to play too. I get along well with other cats, especially my friend Attica, so I might like having kitty companions in my new home. I’ll be meowing, “Yippy skippy!” when you adopt me to be your darling Pippi! Story
Remember “Finding Nemo”? I’m a tuxedo kitty, and I’ve never seen a movie, but I’ll bet you have. Dory’s a fish. Dory said, “When life gets you down do you wanna know what you’re gonna do? Just keep swimming.” Easy for a fishy fish to say! I’m a kitty cat. But I guess I understand. I was found as a stray and was brought to the Carriage House Vet Clinic in Kasson last July. Then I came to Paws and Claws so I can find a forever home. It took me a while to adjust to living in my colony room at the shelter, but I have come a long way! I no longer hide; instead, I like to come out into the room and play with people, especially if they have wand toys! Although I can still be shy at times, I like being petted, and I am good with other cats. Like Dory in the movie advised, I kept `swimming` -- now I`m splashing and having a ball! No one can keep Dory down! You’ll see! You will love Dory, and we’ll get along swimmingly.Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
“Trick or treat!” Isn’t that what most hoboes say? No? Uh, “Will work for food?” Sure, yeah, that’s what I meant! I am too good looking to be called Hobo, but that’s what folks call me. I showed up on a property on Halloween, and I’ve been staying there until I can be adopted. I`ve learned to get along with other cats now. I haven’t been around dogs yet. I’m funny and super playful, and I’m fun to watch. I love the cat tunnel and any kind of string toy. What I don’t love so much is being held. I do so-so with being carried. It makes me a tad nervous. I’ve been doing great learning to be an indoor cat, and I’ll be a wonderful addition to just about any home. I love tricks and treats, and I’d love to be your Hobo boy! I will be staying in my foster home. Anyone interested in adopting me should apply online or call the shelter to make arrangements to meet me.Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
Jasmine (and Alice) are available for viewing at VCA Cascade Animal Medical Center. Jasmine is a beautiful flower that grows in tropical and warm climates. It represents love and grace. I’m a lovely adult female named Jasmine. I was surrendered to Rochester Animal Control along with another kitty from my home, Alice. We need to go to our new home together. I am a quiet but friendly girl, and I like to be petted. This is a big change for us, and while it is not required that we be adopted together, it may be easier for us to adapt to a new home environment if we can stay together. In some cultures, the jasmine flower also represents new beginnings. With the love of a caring family, I will adjust and be a happy Jasmine kitty. Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
“Let’s face it, the good stuff happens after midnight.” – Matt Groening, creator of The Simpsons and Futurama. You’re here because you’re looking for “the good stuff”, aren’t you? I’m an adult tabby girl named Midnight. I was found in Preston with another girl called Jewel. Jewel is so dazzling and friendly that she follows people around everywhere. I’m not quite so bold. I am more reserved, and it takes me longer to get used to new places. I do like attention and petting, however, and I like to play a bit. It would help my confidence if I could be adopted with Jewel, especially since we were found together. The best is yet to be when we go home to be your girls. Good stuff will happen after Midnight and Jewel come into your life.Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax

Story
There is a gypsy proverb that goes like this: After bad luck comes good fortune. I’m just over 3½ years old, and I’ve already had a good deal of both good fortune and bad luck. I was first adopted from Paws and Claws in October 2022, then returned in September 2023 because I did not do well with the children in that home. Then I was adopted again the following spring, and my person thought she would love me forever. Now her mother brought me back because her daughter left me with her mom and said she no longer wants to take care of me. Her mother brought me back to the shelter. So, here I am again. I’m hoping that the third time will really, really be my lucky charm. My “grandma” – my former adopter’s mom – said that I am kind, affectionate, and playful. I like toys, and I do like children. She said you should be aware that I might nip when I don’t want to be petted, so I may do best in a home with older children. I did okay with other cats and dogs, but I would prefer to be “an only child” in the home. I love sunbathing and birdwatching. You may notice that I am no longer a petite boy, so I could benefit from more exercise in the form of play and dietary monitoring under veterinary supervision. I truly am a lovable guy, and I am hoping for a forever home as someone’s terrific, true-blue friend, Thomas.Adoption fee $100 + microchip fee $30 + tax
