Meet Kitten River!!!This little guy and his family lived as strays in a restaurant parking lot in an area of Nashville named Rivergate. Hence his name. Two Critter Cavalry volunteer were able to trap him and his 4 siblings. River is being fostered with his sister Madison. Rivergate is in the community of Madison. One sister has been adopted and siblings Summer and Sonic are in another foster home. These kitties had a rough beginning but have blossomed in very sweet and engergetic little ones. River loves to play especially with feather wands. Need a treat tester then this highly food motivated boy is the one for you. River is the first one to the food and happily laps up his serving. This adorable guy is payful, curious, and fun to have around. He just makes you smile. River is 4 months old, totally vetted and ready for his forever home. Meet Edie and her family! We love to play but also enjoy lounging around on cat trees. Some of our favorite toys include toy mice, balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, and, of course, the laser pointer. We adore all the kitty treats, grooming, and catnip that our foster provides. We are truly affectionate and would love to be adopted with one of our siblings or our mom. We’re irresistibly cute and quickly warm up to food, playtime, and lots of pets and love. Lily is our mom, and we are Edie, Marilyn, and Herman. Edie is super sweet and craves attention. Her fur is fluffier than her siblings’. Edie often helps her foster mom, wanting to be on the desk or in her lap, but she has to take turns with her siblings. She loves getting all the affection and is always the first one to the food bowl. All of us are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, FIV negative, and microchipped. Looking for an adult cat with lots of love and charm then look no further than delightful Delilah. This beautiful tuxedo girl was found and rescued by her foster mom. Delilah truly had it rough living in a gravel truck lot where she had a litter of kittens. She knew there was a better life out there so as part of a trap neuter return off she went to get fixed. Her rescuer knew Delilah was friendly and was prime to be a house kitty and made the decision to bring her home. What a surprise, Delilah made herself right at home as a house cat. She loves pets and is a lap cat for sure spending time in her fosters lap while working. Delilah doesn't let the ear tip take away from her charm and her personality shines through. She has lots of spunk and loves to play but she mostly relaxes enjoying the inside life. Delilah loves the highest perch in the cat tree which is best for one of her favorite pastimes, bird and squirrel watching. She loves her treats and comes running at snack time. Delilah gets along with other cats and ignores the dog. She is not exposed to children but her personality should be fine with older children who understand pet boundaries. Delilah is deserving of a happy forever home and will be the perfect fit for a lifetime companion. She is spayed, current on all shots, FIV negative and microchipped. Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats. This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones. Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured. Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months. She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks. A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared. Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot. All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay. “This soft bed is for me? This cozy cubby is mine?” It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day. Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there. Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog? Or under-cat, in this case? She so wants her forever home! To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone. She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy. Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand. Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room. They play tag up and down the cat tower. It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others. She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention! She has never known that, being “the only cat”. Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush! No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately. She is soon a large lump of love. You can brush her for hours, it seems. It is great watching her roll over and relax. Grey has mastered the art of napping. Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat? Head scratches? Grey cannot get enough of them. And back scratches, too? Show me more! Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes? Omaire is now 11 months old and is truly a handsome boy. He loves to play but also enjoys leisurely lounging on cat trees. However, he hasn’t always had it easy. Omaire, along with his mom Anise and his siblings, was rescued from a dangerous environment where they lived on the streets. Omaire loves to play wrestle with his mom Anise and the other foster kitties in the home. Some of his favorite toys include toy mice, balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, and, of course, the laser pointer. He is spoiled and enjoys all the kitty treats, push-up treats, brushing, and catnip that our foster provides. Omaire is truly a love bug and is not shy at all. He hopes to find a forever home where he can stay safe indoors and receive all the pampering and luxury he deserves. Omaire would love to be adopted with his mom or have another kitty to play with.
