Meet Edie and her family! We love to play but also enjoy lounging around on cat trees. Some of our favorite toys include toy mice, balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, and, of course, the laser pointer. We adore all the kitty treats, grooming, and catnip that our foster provides. We are truly affectionate and would love to be adopted with one of our siblings or our mom. We’re irresistibly cute and quickly warm up to food, playtime, and lots of pets and love. Lily is our mom, and we are Edie, Marilyn, and Herman. Edie is super sweet and craves attention. Her fur is fluffier than her siblings’. Edie often helps her foster mom, wanting to be on the desk or in her lap, but she has to take turns with her siblings. She loves getting all the affection and is always the first one to the food bowl. All of us are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, FIV negative, and microchipped. Omaire is now 11 months old and is truly a handsome boy. He loves to play but also enjoys leisurely lounging on cat trees. However, he hasn’t always had it easy. Omaire, along with his mom Anise and his siblings, was rescued from a dangerous environment where they lived on the streets. Omaire loves to play wrestle with his mom Anise and the other foster kitties in the home. Some of his favorite toys include toy mice, balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, and, of course, the laser pointer. He is spoiled and enjoys all the kitty treats, push-up treats, brushing, and catnip that our foster provides. Omaire is truly a love bug and is not shy at all. He hopes to find a forever home where he can stay safe indoors and receive all the pampering and luxury he deserves. Omaire would love to be adopted with his mom or have another kitty to play with. He is too cute and warms up quickly with food, playtime, and lots of pets and affection. Omaire is fully vaccinated, FIV and FELV negative, and neutered. Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats. This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones. Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured. Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months. She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks. A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared. Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot. All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay. “This soft bed is for me? This cozy cubby is mine?” It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day. Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there. Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog? Or under-cat, in this case? She so wants her forever home! To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone. She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy. Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand. Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room. They play tag up and down the cat tower. It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others. She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention! She has never known that, being “the only cat”. Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush! No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately. She is soon a large lump of love. You can brush her for hours, it seems. It is great watching her roll over and relax. Grey has mastered the art of napping. Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat? Head scratches? Too funny, as his siblings chase him down. Sparky gets a little vocal when they try to take it from him. All in fun, of course, and simply adorable. Even more adorable is Sparky chasing his own tail! Around and around he goes. He just cannot figure out how to catch that furry thing! It doesn’t take long for his brother to jump up and tackle him. This energetic little guy is from a litter of 5 kittens, which share a kitten room with 2 mama kitties and 2 other kittens. Born on July 9th, these babies were really tiny and it took them a bit to fill out. Both mamas and kittens were surrendered by a woman shortly after birth, and they have been raised here in a safe, warm, loving home. Not one risky day of outside-living for this group. This happy little family has been a treat to foster. Not even one kitten has been sick! It has been wonderful. Just that much more time to spend playing and growing up. Sparky has grown into a sweet little boy. He is as lovable as he is cute. (Yes, he really is that cute!). He is still high spirited at this point and not so interested in sitting still.
