Story

Cali's story ❤️ I found Cali outside the prison where I work overnights. She was so skinny — someone had clearly dumped her. Every night she would wait outside the gate for attention, and I'd feed her because she was starving. Then she'd take off in the mornings before the place got busy. I knew instantly she would make a wonderful companion for someone — she is such a lover. She just wants to be with her person, cuddling and soaking up attention. I already have too many cats, and I'm a failed foster (I keep "foster failing"), so I had to cut myself off. Cali has been with a wonderful foster for a few months now, but our foster needs to take in a mom and her kittens next, so we're looking to place Cali in her forever home soon. Cali is 1½ years old, spayed and vaccinated (9/24). She's great with kids, and with other animals she just needs a few days to settle in and warm up. I will provide a Tidy cat litter box, food to get started. Hopefully someone will be her forever person.

Story

Milagro is a sweet 2-year-old female. I found her and her brother, Tigre, on the street when they were younger, and I took them in to give them a safe and loving home. They have always been together and are very close. I currently study and work, so I don’t have enough time to give them the attention and care they deserve. I am also moving out of my current home, and unfortunately, pets are not allowed where I will be living. This is a very difficult decision because they are both very special to me. Ideally, I would love for Milagro and Tigre to stay together in the same loving home. I want to find a caring family who will give them the love, attention, and safe home they deserve.

Charlotte

American Shorthair

Female, Adult

Middletown, NY

(when grown) -

Details

Not good with dogs, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,

Story

Charlotte is a sweetheart and quirky adventurer. She loves to cuddle and enjoys her alone time as well, especially while sleeping while her human is doing things at home. She enjoys burrowing under the bed covers or blankets. She enjoys eating, playing, drinking water, listening to music, and snuggling. She isn’t territorial. She will be your shadow as much as her own independent wanderer. She has a keen acknowledgement of her surroundings and her human. She has great independent skills while her human is away running errands, at work, or on vacation. She is a muse, lover, excellent companion, and well adjusted to her autonomy. Like most cats, she prefers and deserves building trust with her human. She doesn’t like quick movements and tricky movements. She is gentle with spunk. She knows when to rest and enjoy life.

Story

He's a handsome and a shy boy. About one year old. He was rescued from Puerto Rico (his not use to the cold in NY) while we were vacationing. He's up to date with his vaccination, medical care and was neutered. We had two cats (one of them blind) at home by the time we found him. We also rescued his mom. Our very large cat does not get along with the new ones. We hope to find them a safe, loving and secure home (I would say mom is about two years old). He is sweet and loves to interact with the family. We have young children and he loves them. It's sad we can not keep him. Our son has asthma and seem they do not affect him as we thought they could. His mom is shy as well but very loving. Not sure of their breed and exact age. Very healthy and loving pets. We would like for them to go to a calm home since they seem scared at times. Unsure if they were abandoned/abused in the past. We just don't want them to suffer or end up in the streets again, abandoned or abused. Last picture is mom.
