Charlie is an adorable, affectionate cat who absolutely loves cuddles and human interaction. Originally adopted at age 3, she is now 5 and ready to find a new family to love. Sadly, an adult in our household has a severe cat allergy requiring an EpiPen. Despite trying everything from allergen reducing cat food to giving Charlie her own space she truly needs to be part of the family; with the freedom and companionship she deserves. Charlie is a true sweetheart who thrives on love and attention. She would do best in a home where someone is around often, ready to give her plenty of cuddles, care, and playtime. Ideal Home: A loving home with no other pets, Older children only as we are unsure how she is with young kids. Our special boy Oliver first came to us back in 2020 and was adopted shortly after he became available. Unfortunately in May of this year, he was returned after a new addition to his home developed an allergy to Oliver. When he arrived back at the shelter we noticed that he had a relatively large wound on the underside of his neck. With little insight into what caused this, we (as well as Oliver of course) started on the path to finding a solution to help him heal. Due to the location of the wound it was an extremely challenging journey, but thanks to the immense efforts of his very dedicated foster mom, Oliver has finally made a full recovery. Despite this ordeal, Oliver never let it diminish his personality in the slightest. He has always been exceptionally sweet, affectionate and talkative. He has been described as being the perfect companion for someone who is more of a homebody and is truly looking for a cuddle buddy. Brielle originally came to us back in 2021, was shortly thereafter adopted and was returned just recently after her pet parent was experiencing some unexpected life changes. She is now 5 years old and just as sweet as ever. Her foster mom has shared that Brielle's favorite things are "long naps, rubbing on her people's legs and cuddles". Brielle has feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), but is very cat friendly. It is absolutely acceptable for FIV+ cats and FIV- cats to coexist as long as the cats get along, which is the case with this very affectionate girl and her foster sister (another RBARI alum!). It was also more recently discovered that Brielle has asthma. Though this is very easily managed with a twice daily inhaler for which Brielle is very accepting of. Our very, very sweet and docile girl is so very loved by her foster family, who have been caring for her since March of this year. However, she is still very much in need of a home to call her own.
