Delia has been waiting so patiently for her forever home! She is shy with strangers but once she warms up to you she is sweet and cuddly and will follow you all over the house. Any new home will definitely need to be patient with her. She loves to play and she loves treats. She loves other cats and will need a kitty friend in her forever home. She is 2 years old and spayed. Her right eye had damage to it prior to us receiving her, it needs no further care and doesn't bother her at all.

MUST GO AS A PAIR! These two girls are looking for their forever home! They are friendly and love love love to play. They do well entertaining themselves but they especially love interactive play with string toys. They love a good cuddle on the couch or bed and purr away. They love to eat and are always interested in what you have. 😋 They are also super curious about what you're doing and will accompany you around. They live with other cats in their foster home.

Doris came to us from the Newark Shelter where she was picked up as a stray. She was very shy and scared but allowed handling so they sent her to us. It took her a few weeks but she has finally come around. She now enjoys attention and will lay on your lap. She is also very playful. She is approx. 5-6 months old. Any new home should expect to also need to work with her for a few weeks until she gets comfortable with you. She will definitely need to be kept in one room or a small space to start. A quiet household would most likely be best for her. Our vet doesn't think her left eye needs any further care, it looks to be an old injury but she may not be able to see out of that eye.

Rorschach and Inky are looking for a new forever home! These brothers were surrendered to the Newark Shelter by their previous owners before we received them. They are a little nervous about having their whole world turned upside down but still very friendly. They love attention and they seem quite bonded so we would love to keep them together. They're around 7 months old and we just neutered them. Would probably suggest a home with no dogs, they seem scared of them.

She was rescued along with her sister after their mother, a stray cat, did everything she could to care for them in very difficult conditions. She is very affectionate with children, enjoys human company, and has a gentle and loving heart. She loves to play, explore outside when it is safe, and after her little adventures, her favorite thing in the world is simply to sleep and curl up in a cozy place ❤️. Luisa is an approximately 1-year-old (as of April 2023) cat who was rescued with her three litter mates snugly tucked in behind a flower box in an unsuspecting family's backyard. She is short and stout with stunning tabby markings and some gorgeous big eyes! She hasn’t been around dogs thus far in her life but I don’t think it would be an issue for her. Not one not to pester a cat that doesn’t want to be bothered, but she adores her adult foster brother and is never far out of his shadow. She likes to be part of the action laying near her people and sleeping on the bed with them most nights but prefers pets on her terms. I'm sure she would great companion for a lonely singular cat or a person who doesn’t try to push her too much with cuddling. She comes to you litter box trained, spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and with all age-appropriate vaccinations so contact Rock City Rescue to adopt this gorgeous girl.
