Meet Augusta, Birdie & Palmer!
From a bad situation in Newark to safe, loved, and thriving in foster care. Augusta was practically a teenager herself when she became a mama, caring for her two young kittens, Birdie and Palmer. Despite everything this little family went through, all three are incredibly sweet, playful, and affectionate. Now that they’re safe, their individual personalities are really starting to shine.
Birdie certainly lives up to her name! This little girl is always “flying” through the air and jumping after her favorite wand toy. She’s super playful, loves spending time with the other cats, and when playtime is over, she’s more than happy to snuggle up with her favorite human. Birdie is the perfect combination of playful energy and sweetness!
Palmer, our beautiful tortie girl, is a little more reserved than her sister, but she has such a loving personality. She’s playful, loves being held and cuddled, and has an especially sweet habit of grooming both her sister and her mama. She may take things at her own pace, but once she’s comfortable, Palmer is an absolute lovebug.
Augusta is the laid-back mama of the group. She loves nothing more than sitting beside her foster mama, getting lots of pets, and having a good conversation — because this girl is very talkative! Her favorite spot is the windowsill, where she can relax and watch the world go by. And once her energetic babies have finally worn themselves out, that’s when Augusta decides it’s her turn to play!
After having such a difficult start, Augusta, Birdie, and Palmer are finally getting to enjoy the safe and happy lives they always deserved. Now they’re ready for the next chapter — finding their forever homes! These sweet girls can be adopted as a pair or all three can stay together! If one is adopted individually, she must go to a home with other cat-friendly pets so she’ll still have the companionship she enjoys.
