Story
Sweet mama Phoenix was found as a stray, barefoot and pregnant! We immediately took her into the rescue and 2 weeks later, she gave birth to 6 beautiful healthy babies. She's a tiny little girl, only weighing in at 7 pounds so we're not quite sure how she fit all those babies in there!. She was a fabulous mommy but no more kittens for her. She is spayed, microchipped, litter box perfect, FIV/FeLV negative and ready for transport. Wouldn't you love to make this sweet girl your own! OUR CATS AND KITTENS MUST NEVER BE DECLAWED OR ALLOWED OURDOORS! ADOPTION FEE $275

Story
From her foster mom...her story : Born around the end of October 2023, this lovely lady has been with me for almost a year.  She was rescued from a field and lived briefly in a resident hotel room with an older lady that saved her from the woods but simply could not support her.  She was initially very scared to be in my home, in the foster kitty room, but she quickly bonded with another CCR foster cat, Leo, that is close to her age.  And they are still buddies!  It mystifies me why they are both still here?  Just look at Cookie’s beautiful black and white markings!  You almost want to take a bite out of her!  She certainly makes me crave my favorite cookies….Oreos!  I started calling her Cookie, good Cookie, and it stuck.  She is such a good Cookie.  She has never been sick.  She has never been aggressive.  She has never been a demanding type of cat.  She just sits back and chills.  She watches me when I enter the foster room, patiently waiting for her turn for some loving.  She immediately jumps up to the top shelf of the tower, to enable me to scratch her head.  She rolls over to let me scratch her belly.  She just wants and needs just a little attention.  You barely hear a peep out of Cookie.  She is happy watching the birds in the Crepe Myrtle trees, dreaming about one day catching them.  Cookie and Leo have what a call “an old married couple’s” relationship!  They are happy and grooming each other one moment, and walking in opposite directions the next!  Then they will suddenly chase each other up the wall tower, to the top wall-shelf!  That wall-shelf has become her favorite perch.  Cookie just sits back and chills.  It seems that her only stress for the day is picking where to nap!  Relax and chill.  Cookie will be a great cat for someone that wants a quiet companion.  Do you have an older parent that could use a “subtle” companion?  Or is that you?  A cat that does not get too rowdy?  A cat that does not scream for food?  A cat that needs little attention?  Lazy?  Perhaps.  Relaxed?  Low maintenance?  Definitely.  Cookie has seldom been without another cat.  She has always been with and tolerated many other fosters in the kitty room.  But I question just how special she would become if she was the only cat in the house?  She might become your shadow!  Your best buddy!  Your Good Cookie!  I know there is a perfect forever home out there for this kitty.  Is she the Cookie for you?  Please write to critter cavalry.Rescue, at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.  Please tell us where you live, city and state.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 2, 2025, 8:13 am

Story
My name is Lillian and I am a very sweet and independent young girl that was raised as a stray kitten in a trailer park in rural Tennessee.  I soon found myself pregnant and I had a litter of babies that were outside with me.  Soon Critter Cavalry Rescue came to take me and my kittens home to help us all get healthy and good homes.  I now have my turn to get adopted and find a forever home.  I am loving and I am not clingy but will sleep you at night if you want me to.   I am just a year old  and have so many more years to live a great life with someone or a family.   Please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.December 7, 2024, 11:04 pm

Story
Ladybug is a talkative girl looking for her forever family! She is about a year old. Ladybug is definitely a very smart kitty who communicates with her foster family about what she wants. She is the kind of cat that does best with daily attention and playtime with her family. She is being fostered with her sister Meadow, who she loves, but it’s not 100% required that they are adopted together. Ladybug loves birdwatching from her favorite perch and playing with string toys/laser dot with her foster family about. She is very food motivated, but attention is what she craves above all. Story
Meet these sweet playful kittens! Our names are brothers Bandit and Inky and sisters Olive, Dora, and Bell   We are the cutest kittens that love to play but also enjoy our time leisurely lounging around cat trees. This is a far cry from how our little lives started. We were surviving in a small dirty crawl space in apartment complex. But our fears disappeared when a Critter Calvary foster came rescues us from what was a dire situation. Some of our favorite toys are toy mice and balls, cat tunnels, wand toys, interactive toys, and don't forget the laser pointer. We love all the kitty treats, push up treats, brushing, and catnip our foster gives us. We really are love bugs and want to be adopted with one of our siblings. Do you know adopting 2 kittens is better than 1! We are too cute and quickly warm up with food, play and lots of pets , being held, and love.   Inky is super sweet and loving. His black and white pattern fur is so soft and silky and cute half moustache. He is a gentle little man. He will lay in your lap and cuddle up. He is shy at first but then loves getting all the love and attention he can get.    Inky has been neutered, is current on all shots, FIV negative and microchipped.  To be considered for his forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Inky is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)      July 22, 2025, 5:58 pm
