Story
Bandit was found by a neighbor & no one claimed him so I decided I would try to take him. I had him neutered, vaccinated including flv, treated with flea & tick meds. He will snuggle but also likes his play time & is very inquisitive! He’s also social & likes attention. He has been used to going outside when I’m home so I’m not sure how that would work in a new home as he does enjoy his outside time. He actually would rather potty outside also. I really don’t think he’d like being inside all the time however, he should be supervised outside until he is used to the property. He does have prey drive as well so if you like birds, rabbits he isn’t for you. He is a good mouser. He is used to small dogs but doesn’t like big dogs,, he’s afraid of them. As far as travel, he doesn’t like it & gets sick in his crate every time so I suppose meds would be needed for that.

Story
Kitty is about 16 years old, and the sweetest little lady. We adopted her around age 2 as the children in the home she was living in developed allergies. We are heartbroken to be in a position to rehome her, but as she has gotten older and slower, our two younger cats bully her. She is not happy being kept in a separate part of the house, but is not safe to roam around freely because of how the other cats treat her. Based on this, we think she would do best in a situation where she is the only pet. She is up to date on shots and very healthy. She has lived exclusively indoors since we adopted her. She is so sweet and cuddly, and just loves to sleep in a quiet sunny window or on your lap. Please let us know if you think your home is the right fit for our sweet girl.

Story
Trixie is an incredibly friendly, sweet cat who loves nothing better than snuggling with her humans (including our 7- and 6-year-old boys). She’s (about) 16 years old and spent most of her life with our other cat, Tupelo, who passed away in 2021 (we adopted them together as kittens in 2008). Trixie did well after the birth of our first two kids, but ever since our third child became mobile, Trixie has been anxious. She's fine the majority of the time, but whenever there is a change to her routine, she pees outside the litter box. Some examples of instances that have made her anxious include replacing us a couch, tiling a laundry room, and our family leaving for a short trip (she typically sleeps in our boys' room and I think the change to her routine - no boys to sleep with - caused her anxiety). After trying a multitude of different calming techniques, my husband and I think it best to find Trixie a new, stress-free home with humans who will love her.

Story
Mickey is super loving but also only loves to be loved when he wants to. He’s super anxious and a bit scared of everything but also loves to play and loves to cuddle to his timing. He loves eating and loves treats and super obsessed with catnip. I adopted him in New York when he was only 2 weeks and we currently reside in Roanoke Virginia. He was born 12/01/2019 and is turning 5 years old this year. I’ve had quite some behavioral issues with him being aggressive and I’m not the best at handling it. I am moving and prefer to not put him through a huge change because he hates cars and traveling and I prefer he is in a stable home with a patient owner. Mickey takes time to get used to another cat and might hiss but he is a sweet heart. He’s fine with other animals as long as they don’t bother him and respect his space.

Story
Rain is an affectionate family cat and gets along great with his best friend who is a pit bull. He was part of the family but now family has all moved away. I have a new grandbaby which will require me to be gone 3 months at a time to take care of her and I cannot take Rain. I usually do not have a litter box for him, but when I am away, I use the litter box inside and he does great. I would estimate his age to be about 7 years. He is a very loving cat and entertaining. He has never found a box too small for him to fit into. He would be a great companion or family pet. He is a very savvy cat and stays close to home.
