Story
FOSTER CARE! Hi, my name is Carla! I am a 3 year old, 12lbs., spayed female chihuahua. I’m a curious little girl that takes a while to warm up to new surroundings, and I’m looking for a patient family that will give me the time I need to warm up to new people. Once I’m comfortable though, I squeak for belly rubs and will roll around in my dog bed! I love to explore once I’m ready, and I love to lie in sunny spots. I even know how to use a doggie door when I want to! I sure do love meal time and treats. I have lived with other dogs before and get along fine if they give me my space, but I also wouldn’t mind being the only dog in the house. I am crate trained, and my foster family says I'm pretty potty trained!    Carla AID# A928346 Since I’m not at the adoption center, you can make arrangements to meet me by emailing behavior@phs-spca.org You may also submit your fully completed Adoption Profile Form to behavior@phs-spca.org and a staff member will call you to conduct a phone interview before making an appointment to meet me in person. You must be 18 or older to submit a profile.  Application: https://phs-spca.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/AdoptionProfiles_dog2023_fillin.pdf *The application may not work on mobile devices and iPads. Story
Hey there, I'm Fawn! I am a 1 year old, 7lbs., spayed female Chihuahua. I'm a gentle and cautions little gal that likes to take my time getting to know new people, but watch out when I become friends, I give all the kisses! I'm a great couch buddy but also enjoy frolicking in the yard as well. I would love a quieter home with older dog savvy kids, ready for the typical Chihuahua that I am. As they say every purse needs a Chihuahua.  Fawn ID# A940374 Drop-In hours for Same Day Adoptions:  11 am – 5 pm, 7 days a week  Adoptions will be done on a first come, first served basis. Please note for walk-ins, if the animal you are interested in has other appointments, he/she may not be available for you to meet. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
You come for a dog, but you leave with a forest nymph. It's bound to happen with a sweet creature like Double Rainbow in the mix. Elfin ears, needle-nose snout, leggy legs and enormous eyes. She would look at home napping under a fern or starring in the next Lord of the Rings movie. But what she really needs is a snug bed, premium petting and you. Magic powers suspected, but not guaranteed. Here are some notes from her foster: Meet the cutest quiet little doe-eyed pupper you've ever seen. Double Rainbow is an elegant and curious lady with a big affection for cuddles. She doesn't bark, is properly house trained, and will find the sunniest spot in the house to sunbath all day long. When she goes for walks she enjoys smelling all the smells, as long as she's not too far away from her favorite human!

Story
Savannah Smiles is a droplet of love so sweet and creamy you're going to want to stir her right into your coffee. Go ahead! Delicious, right? If her expressive tail wag and big brown eyes don't break your heart into a million pieces, her insanely cute walk will do the trick. Just watch her toodling around for 5 seconds and BAM! now you're in love. Mazel tov!
