He loves to stay close to people and cuddle. He's very food motivated, walks well on leash! He would bark at strangers and kids when he first see them but he will be fine afterwards. He loves to sun bathe and gets his belly rubs! He is vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

ADOPTED. Max is a delightful little guy whose goofy grin and wildly wagging tail get a smile from everyone he meets! He is housetrained and good with other dogs and cats who are tolerant of dogs. Max is about 1-1/2 to 2 years old and about 7 lbs. He is an affectionate, sweet boy. He has blossomed in foster care and has overcome most of his initial shyness at meeting new people. Max thrives in the company of other dogs. He has become play pals with a gentle Aussie and is currently in a foster home with two small dogs. Max has met several horses and was also good with them. He would also do well with younger children as long as they treated him gently. Max absolutely loves his walks! He becomes so excited when he knows that he is going for a walk that he dances on his hind legs (he does the same at mealtime!). He has boundless energy while on walks and is well-behaved on the leash. At home, Max is a calm and happy dog who loves to cuddle. He'll win your heart when he climbs into your lap and takes a nap while you watch TV. He does not seem interested in playing with toys. He does like to sleep with his person at night and sleeps through the night with no problem. Max would do best in a home with another dog (or dogs) or if his person were with him much of the time. He is a special little guy who deserves a stable and loving long-term home. Max’s adoption fee is $275. He is being fostered in Martinez, CA. Mozart is a dashing tri-color chihuahua with a distinctive look – on first glance, he has a brown ear, a pink ear, and a white face, so you’ll know he stands apart. Well, that’s if he stands still long enough for you to see his adorable face, because Mozart has been hopping around (maybe Tigger would have been a more appropriate name?) since he crossed our threshold. Mozart is clearly a happy boy with tons of enthusiasm for exploring the big wide world outside, and he’s looking for the perfect companion to share all of his adventures with. Are you looking for a peppy little sidekick to add some zest to your life? Maybe you could make some music with Mozart! Here's some notes from his foster: He is a very energetic, wiggly, adorable boy. He seems to be a dog who is going to bond quickly to his human. He is a quintessential lap dog. He wants a lot of attention and physical closeness. He sleeps in the crook of my arm at night. He is a sweet, incredibly affectionate boy. He has had daily opportunities to spend time with other dogs. He displays some alpha characteristics and can be rather selective about who he wants to be in his company. If he encounters a dog he doesn't like on a walk he can be diverted with a treat. He does however bark and grumble. He is great on leash. He loves to be outside. When he knows we are going out he can barely contain his enthusiasm. He twirls and jumps for joy, He is okay being carried in a bag or sling so you can take him anywhere. He does great on car rides and loves running errands around town. He would prefer to be with his person as much as possible. He has been left at home for a couple of hours at a time, after barking for a minute he seems to be fine. I expect he will get better at this once he is sure you will return. He is a very peppy guy. He has no problem with stairs. He uses a ramp to get up on the couch or the bed. He has a very robust appetite for such a tiny dog. He loves treats. I think Mozart would be the perfect companion for someone who wants to have a fun, portable sidekick that can be on the go with them and a lap warmer when they are working at home.

A clear winner in the Doggie DNA Olympics, Bearden appears to have the short legs, dainty paws and inquisitive ears of a chi, and the round chassis, perky ears and luscious fur of a butterscotch corgi. Handsome is a grave understatement. He’s good with other dogs, has lots of energy and enjoys a trot and a snack. A recent foster described him as “a perfect gentleman,” and we concur. Is he also loverboy who will likely figure out how to use stairs with gentle guidance? Yep. Nothing missing, to be honest. Just a sweet pup with lovely manners looking for a forever home. Your move. Here's some notes from his foster: He is a great boy. He did fantastic on the car ride home. He explored the house when he got home, had dinner and then took a nap. He wants to be around people - has no trouble acclimating to new people - there are five people in our family who gradually came home. Very happy with our 11 year old child. He took a nice evening stroll. He was trotting and has great energy. He has not barked at all since we picked him up. We left him in the house alone and all stepped out for a few minutes. We had cameras on to watch him - after 10min of roaming around he settled on his bed! Never barked or seemed agitated. He loved going on several walks, we were out and about nearly 30 min in Golden Gate Park and have went from our house to Dolores park. He even runs! He loves other dogs and people . He's good in the car, at times he seems a little scared of the ride, but no real issues. He is not really comfortable going up and down stairs but we have hard wood floors so maybe if carpeted it would be different. He needs to potty first thing in morning - This has been key to his house training success! I really think he’ll make a great companion. He appears to be a very special and friendly and easy dog!!!
