Story
Perrita muy amable y muy muy timida. La recibi como una adopcion de ayuda. La dueña original tuvo problemas en su apartamento y decidi adoptarla. La he tenido por dos años y he tenido problemas de alergias con mis niños. Me duele dejarla ir. Le encanta correr afuera y esta entrenada para hacer sus necesidades en el lugar correcto. Me encantaria que encontrara un hogar donde reciba mucho amor y cariño por el resto de su vida.

Good with:Dogs Not tested with:Kids, cats House trained:Mostly with an occasional accident Energy level:Medium Noise level:Medium My foster guardian says: My favorite thing about Benji is what a cuddle bug he is! Likes:short walks, riding in the car Hi there! Im Benji! Im the cuddliest little chihuahua youll ever meet. My favorite place to be is curled up in someones lap! If I could be touching my human 100% of the time, I would be! Im a pup who would love to have one special buddy. I dont need a huge pack, or a lot of doggy siblings running around. Im a friendly guy, and I like to sniff hello with other dogs when Im out on a walk. Aside fro that though, Im not really a dogs dog. Im really all about my humans! Im crate trained, and Im good on leash too! Short walks are my jam! I like to go on car rides and adventures, especially ones that involve me being carried or getting snacks. Are you looking for a chihuahua-shaped shadow to follow you around and be your best buddy? Then you need a Benji! Apply to adopt me today! Benji is on Vetmedin for a heart condition. Story
Good with:Dogs Not tested with:Kids, Cats House trained:Mostly with an occasional accident Energy level:Low Noise level:Quiet My foster guardian says:My favorite thing about Rascal is how loyal and affectionate he is! Likes:short walks, napping, cuddling Hi! Im Rascal! Im a super low energy pup who loves spending time with my foster family. They call me a couch potato, which is pretty accurate. My best skills include lounging, cuddling, vegging out, and dozing! One of the cutest things I do is sitting down to get pets. My foster mom thinks sitting is the coolest trick ever, so I like to do it a lot to make her happy! I generally love making my humans happy, which means Im an easy guy to train. Im also a good listener! When someone tells me to stop doing something, Im quick to do what they ask, whether thats leaving the squirrels alone, or walking quietly down the hallway. Im even a champ at bath time! I spend my days napping in my crate while my foster mom works, and following my doggy foster brother around the house. Im super well-behaved and laid back inside, and the only thing I chew are my bones! Since my foster family are pretty much the best people ever, I like to spend all my time with them. Im practising getting comfortable staying home alone. With a bit more practice, Ill be a pro! Before I came to D.C., my life wasnt easy, so learning that people can be safe and fun has been an adjustment for me. I get a little unsure around new people, and I like to take introductions slow. The world can look pretty scary when youre only 20 pounds. Youd be cautious too! Once I get some slow sniffs in, then Im all about making new friends. If youre looking for a little snuggle buddy who will be your loyal companion for life, I think we would be a great match! Apply to adopt me today! Good with: Dogs, kids Not tested with: Cats, kids House trained: Mostly, with an occasional accident Energy level: Medium Noise level: Mostly quiet, sometimes barks My foster guardian says: My favorite thing about Smokey is how affectionate he is!" Likes: zoomies, cuddling, toys Hi, Im Smokey, and only you can prevent wildfires! Just kidding! Im a super cute senior chihuahua, not a public service announcement bear! My previous family had to move away, so I'm searching for a new forever home where I can live out my golden years. My foster family describes me as sweet and sassy. Id agree! One of my favorite things ever is being pet, snuggled, and getting all the attention! Being an older guy, Im content to just sit back and enjoy life most of the time. For example: my foster family likes to go on walks for fun. Im not kidding. Please tell me, Im not the only one who thinks thats weird? The only time I like going for a walk is if someone is carrying me! Im not about that outdoorsy life. Or exercise in general, actually. I would much rather hang out inside, cuddling with my people, or napping under a blanket. That said, I can be playful sometimes, and I get zoomies when I have my toys out. I especially love playing tug of war! I like other dogs, but Im happiest just chilling with my 4 legged friends. I'm not huge into romping around (see above, romping=exercise). So, if youre looking for someone to join you on indoorsy adventures, or just to hang out, sniffin the breeze, Im your guy! Apply to adopt me today! This 5-month-old, 6-pound Chihuahua mix is the definition of love in a tiny, white, wiggly package.   Snoopy is more than just cute—he’s the perfect companion. A professional cuddler, devoted lap warmer, and full-time shadow, Snoopy wants nothing more than to be by your side. Whether you're binge-watching your favorite show or working from home, Snoopy will be right there, quietly soaking up your love.   And yes, he’s still a puppy—which means he’s bursting with playful energy and hilarious antics. He’ll bring joy, laughter, and a sense of wonder to your every day. He’s working hard on house training, getting the hang of his crate, and learning that leashes can be fun. All he needs is a little patience and a lot of love—and he’ll give both right back to you tenfold.   Snoopy is great with other dogs and has such a gentle, easy-going personality that we’re confident he’d charm even the most particular of cats. He’s small enough to go everywhere with you, and he’d love to be your travel buddy for life.   If you’re searching for a furry soulmate—someone who will love you endlessly, follow you anywhere, and fill your home with happiness—look no further. Snoopy isn’t just a good dog. He’s your dog.
