Im giving my dog for adoption because I gave birth not too long ago and Its hard to take care of the baby and my dog. so Benji is 2 years and half old, and he’s a good dog, he get along with kids but doesn’t like to be bothered too much, I would just like a new home for him that can take much better care for him and give him more attention than I can.

Story
Chihuahuas are some of the most beloved breeds in America today. Their small bodies and tender, loving souls bring the kind of affection that so many people are searching for. They don’t need much space or food, yet they give enormous companionship, loyalty, and joy. These little dogs want to be at the center of their person’s world, creating bonds that last a lifetime and leaving a legacy of love that endures even after they are gone.   Grant’s story is one of resilience and hope. He came from a home with too many dogs and not enough care, ending up in a tiny shelter in Tennessee, frightened and unsure of the world. Despite this uncertain past, Grant has a gentle heart and a sweet, affectionate nature that is shining through more every day.   Grant is a handsome 1-year-old, 15-pound Chihuahua with the most charming white sock “leggings” that make him truly stand out. He’s a tall little boy with a big heart, and though he can be a bit nervous at first, he is making remarkable progress in just two weeks with us. Like a child a little afraid of the dark, Grant simply needs patience, love, and gentle reassurance. Once he feels safe, he will gladly curl up in your lap, soak up attention, and shower you with affection.   He is good with other dogs, though sometimes a little bossy at first—likely a habit from his uncertain past—but he quickly backs down once he feels secure. Grant is mostly housebroken and does well in a home without a crate. He is a climber and clever little adventurer, so confining him isn’t the best idea. He thrives when allowed to move freely, and he won’t tear anything up.   Grant is a small dog with enormous potential to become a loving, devoted companion for the right person. He is ready to blossom in a home that will give him the patience and affection he deserves, one cozy, comforting day at a time.   To make Grant a part of your life, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Please include your city and state.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 11, 2026, 4:35 pm

Story
Meet Bashful Bam Bam — a tiny treasure with a huge heart. This handsome purebred Chihuahua is just 1 year old and weighs a petite 12 pounds, making him the perfect little lap companion. With his beautiful white coat, warm brown markings, and soulful, expressive eyes, Bam Bam has a way of melting hearts the moment you meet him. Bam Bam may be a little shy when first introduced to new people, but give him a little patience and kindness, and you’ll quickly discover a deeply loving and devoted companion. Despite a difficult beginning in life — having been left outside in freezing weather by people who failed him — Bam Bam has never lost his gentle spirit or his ability to trust and love. Thanks to the care and affection of his foster mom, he’s learning what it truly means to be safe, cherished, and part of a family. This sweet little guy absolutely adores his people. One of his favorite moments each day is greeting his foster mom when she comes home from work, tail wagging and ready to shower her with unconditional love. After a long day, Bam Bam has a special way of making stress disappear with cuddles, companionship, and his calm, comforting presence. Bam Bam enjoys all the simple pleasures in life — curling up in your lap, going for walks, riding in the car, and spending quality time with his humans. He’s doing wonderfully with the doggie door at his foster home and also reliably uses puppy pads. He gets along well with other dogs and is friendly and respectful with the resident cats, making him an easy addition to a loving home. This little survivor is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and in excellent health. Bam Bam is now ready for the forever home he truly deserves — one filled with warmth, patience, love, and plenty of lap time. In return, he’ll give you endless loyalty, affection, and a bond that only a rescued dog can offer.   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 11, 2026, 4:35 pm

Story
This sweet little guy is Buddy and he is a happy go lucky 7-year,14-pound Chihuahua mix who has been with my a senior couple since he was a puppy. Due to his elderly mother's move to assisted living, this boy needs to be moved to a loving foster or forever home ASAP.   The family children have heavy personal responsibilities and illness they are dealing with and Buddy cannot join either of the homes of the daughters.  They feel backed in a corner to find him a place very soon and Critter Cavalry Rescue is dedicated to helping this innocent little happy guy find a place to share his joyful personality.   Buddy is incredibly loyal and loves being with his people. He has plenty of energy for playtime and would love a fenced yard where he can run and explore, but if you don't have a fenced yard, he also does well going for walks on a leash. He's also perfectly happy curling up beside you for a nap. He is up to date on all vaccinations and is happiest when he's spending time with the people he loves. Buddy could fit into many different types of homes. He may especially enjoy a quieter home with an older person or couple, but more than anything, he just wants a family who will love him, include him, and make him part of their lives. This is a heartbreaking decision for his mom, and the only goal is to find Buddy the safe, loving home he deserves. Buddy would do best in a home without cats as he thinks of them as a good game of chase.  While he can get along with other dogs, he tends to do best with a sweet, confident dog who won't be intimidated by his strong personality, as he can sometimes be a bit bossy with other dogs. We know there is a special person or family out there who will give him the love, companionship, and happy home he deserves.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in making this darling little guy your amazing sidekick for life.
