Story
Meet Woofgang Puck, or just Puck for short! This lovable 8-year-old Supermutt (mostly Rat Terrier, according to his DNA test) is a little bundle of joy, possibly with a sprinkle of Beagle in his genes. At first, Puck may come off as shy, but give him a moment, and his playful side will shine like a star! Puck adores his toys and loves to get into some light-hearted trouble—just picture him as the life of the party! He enjoys his naps, but don’t let him miss out on the fun; after all, who wants to snooze through an adventure? He loves being outside, but keep an eye on him—if the yard isn’t secure, he might go on his own mini explorations. And be careful! If a door is left open, he’s ready to dash out! When it comes to other dogs, Puck needs a little help. He has a tendency to “assist” them with their meals, which can be quite annoying. His friendly greetings can be a bit much—he barks, jumps, and wags his tail enthusiastically, which may confuse his canine pals. With some training, he can learn to tone it down. He’s also learning how to handle his protective instincts, but if you have other pets, be prepared to guide him through it. Puck is quite the jumper when he’s excited and might unexpectedly leap onto you, giving playful nips at your legs! He listens when corrected but often forgets the rules once the fun starts again. While he’s crate trained, Puck feels much more comfortable snoozing on a cozy bed rather than being confined to a crate. Sleeping in your bed isn’t something he’s into just yet. The good news is, he’s house trained and will let you know when it’s time to go out. Puck does have a heart murmur and takes medication twice a day for it. He can get a bit anxious, especially when being picked up or during car rides, and sitting on laps isn’t really his scene. This sweet boy is looking for a forever home filled with love, patience, and understanding. With your support, Puck will be ready for short hikes and exciting adventures with his favorite human! Puck has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. He also had a recent dental and lost a few teeth. If you are interested in adopting Puck, please complete an adoption application on our website. Just go to uaaf.org/adopt. Story
Linkin is a sweet, silly little guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He’s been perfect with the dog door since day one—four weeks in and not a single accident, even before he was neutered. He loves to play with both humans and dogs, and fetch is his favorite game. His signature move is grabbing the toy, zooming into another room, then proudly trotting it back to his person. He does great with small dogs but hasn’t been tested with cats or large dogs yet. Linkin is still learning that men can be safe; he’s nervous around them but making steady progress. He’s especially warming up to Garrett, his foster dad, who has been the bringer of meals and treats. Sometimes he’ll growl when he’s unsure who’s approaching, but he relaxes as soon as he realizes it’s Garrett. Linkin is a world class cuddler who wants to be with his person as much as possible. He loves looking out the window and is usually quiet, though he’ll bark or howl at whatever catches his eye. He’s done well in a crate but also sleeps happily on the bed with the other dogs. Like any young pup, he’ll occasionally chew something he shouldn’t, but he listens when corrected. He’s smart, funny, affectionate, and just so much fun to have around. Linkin has been neutered, is current on vaccines has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Linkin, please complete an application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt). For more information, call/text Sandy 801-467-8610 or email svalentine46@gmail.com

Story
Meet The Fish (aka Fish) Don't let the name fool you—The Fish is 100% puppy, 100% adorable, and 1,000% fun! Named after the famous Santa Fe coffee shop Henry & The Fish, this little guy made the journey from New Mexico with his brother Henry in search of the perfect forever family. Fish is the life of the party. This silly little man is built low to the ground with the cutest stubby profile, making every zoomie, bounce, and pounce even more entertaining. (His DNA results are pending, but whatever breeds are in there clearly got the recipe just right!) His favorite things in the world? A game of tug, chasing a tennis ball, and making everyone around him laugh. Fish is always ready for the next adventure, whether it's romping around the yard, playing with his dog friends, or inventing a new game all on his own. When playtime is over, Fish is more than happy to soak up affection from his favorite people. He's an affectionate, happy-go-lucky puppy with a joyful spirit that's impossible to resist. Fish is up-to-date on his age-appropriate vaccinations and is ready to find a family who will help him continue learning, exploring, and living his very best puppy life. If you're looking for a best friend with a big personality packed into an adorable little low-rider body, The Fish is ready to swim straight into your heart.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2026, 7:25 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Maura Raine! I’m 5 years old and I weigh in at about 8lbs. I’m a tiny little girl with big dark eyes and I’m looking for a family of my own who I can love forever. I really love people. I love to snuggle and give kisses. I will jump right onto your lap for cuddle! I haven’t been around little kids, but respectful kids over 8 should be just fine for me. I am a very loving little lady. I am also great with dogs of all sizes! I came to Rescue Rovers with a friend. We aren’t bonded, but we do love to be together. I would really like a doggy friend of a similar size in my forever home. I love to play with squeaky toys. Like, I LOVE to play with squeaky toys. That SOUND they make! I LOVE that sound. I can make it happen with my mouth which makes me feel absolutely magical. Squeaky toys are a must for my forever home. I am crate trained and potty trained. Well, I haven’t had any potty accidents in my foster home because foster mom keeps us on a schedule, which I think definitely counts as potty trained. But keep in mind that I will probably need some reminders and maybe some potty pads for the first week or two in my forever home . If you think I could be the sweet little girl you’ve been looking for, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 20, 2026, 8:34 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Chiquita Rosa – you can call me Rosa. I’m a 4 year old, 11lb terrier mix with chocolate fur and expressive eyebrows. I’m looking for my very own loving forever family. I will need a little patience in the beginning. I’m a bit cautious when meeting new people – I take a minute to really observe and make sure you’re a friend. Once I’ve decided you are someone I can trust, though, I will be your best friend. I love to jump up on your lap and snuggle against you. I am a loving little girl once I’m comfortable with my humans. I am great with dogs of all sizes. I came to Rescue Rovers with a friend. We aren’t bonded, but we do love to be together. I would really like a doggy friend of a similar size in my forever home. I am mouthy when I play, so a home with kids over 10, or kids who understand mouthy play would be best for me. I am not mean and I’m not a biter, I just get excited about toys and playtime! I am crate trained and potty trained. Well, I haven’t had any potty accidents in my foster home because foster mom keeps us on a schedule, which I think definitely counts as potty trained.
