Story
Looking for a devoted sidekick who thinks the best place in the world is right by your side? Meet Puck, an adorable 8-year-old Supermutt mix (mostly Rat Terrier!). At a compact 18 pounds, he’s the ultimate mix of loyal sidekick and curious backyard explorer. Puck is house-trained, dog-door fluent, and crate-comfortable (though he’d prefer to be in the room with you). He'll give you a polite nudge when it's time to go outside! (PS. He LOVES short hikes and yard time.) Since he’s super smart, his new home should have a securely fenced yard and mindful door management to keep him safe. Puck is seeking a calm, low-traffic home where he can be the star of the show. He needs to be the only dog in a home without young children. (He occasionally likes to guard his favorite people and food bowl, so he needs a patient, experienced adopter who understands gentle boundaries.) Puck is neutered, microchipped, heartworm-negative, vaccinated, and has had his routine dental cleaning. He manages a heart murmur like a champ with affordable medication (twice a day), showing no signs of letting it slow down his love for life. If you have a peaceful home and a heart ready for a fiercely loyal best friend, Puck is ready to meet you! If you are interested in adopting Puck, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt). For more information, call/text Randee at 801-232-8157 or email uaaf.randee@gmail.com

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! My name is Daisy May, and I’m a tiny 4-pound, 3-month-old Chihuahua mix with a big personality! I’m a sweet and independent little pup who loves to stay busy. I get along well with other dogs, but I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing—exploring, sniffing around, and finding little adventures wherever I go. Every now and then, I’ll take a break from my important exploring to play with my foster siblings! But when it comes to my humans… now that’s where my heart really shines! I absolutely LOVE people. The moment I see my humans, it’s all happy jumps, wiggly tails, and excitement.  I’m still learning my potty-training cues, but I’m a smart little girl! Whenever I’m taken outside, I know exactly what to do and go potty. I’m a great sleeper and sleep soundly in my crate all night. I’m also a quiet little girl who doesn’t bark very much, and I have very minimal to no shedding. I’m a tiny girl with a whole lot of love to give, and I can’t wait to find my very own forever family! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Fish Stix! Don’t let this irresistible pouty face fool you—this little man is every bit the fun-loving, spicy little guy you’d expect from a Chihuahua–pug mix! At just 6 months old and 8 lbs, this adorable little dude is packed with personality. Fish Stix is confident, playful, loyal, sweet, and full of puppy energy. He loves to zoom, play, explore, and then settle in for some quality lap-dog time once he’s gotten his energy out. And when it comes to strangers, his stranger-danger alarm gets THREE out of Five stars ï¸ï¸ï¸ He decides when he takes his job as neighborhood security seriously or not! This smart little guy will thrive with someone who can give him structure, a consistent routine, and plenty of mental stimulation to keep his clever mind busy. He’s still working on potty training and is making great progress with a regular routine. Fish Stix is still learning that the crate isn’t so bad—he may have a few things to say about it at first, but he settles in. He LOVES water and thinks bath time is fantastic!  Car rides, however, are not currently on his favorites list , as he does get carsick. His history with kids and cats is unknown, but he has been friendly with the dogs he has met. He is looking for someone who will appreciate his big personality in a tiny package and help him continue growing into the wonderful little companion he already is. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, smart, slightly spicy  sidekick, Fish Stix just might be the one for you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! My name is Dekker, and if you have an open lap and a pocket full of treats, we are already destined to be best friends.   I’m a 7 and a half year young Chihuahua mix with a huge heart and the most expressive face in town. Seriously, you’ll never have to guess what I’m thinking—my eyebrows do all the talking, whether I’m wondering why the petting stopped or politely requesting a snack.   My energy sits at a very manageable 5/10. I don't need wild marathons to be happy—just a nice sniff walk, a little silly time, and lots of quality couch snuggles. When I get really happy to see you, I can’t help myself: I hop around just like a little bunny! I truly adore people and get along great with kids. Because I love my humans so much, being left alone can make me a little anxious at first, but with routine and reassurance, I settle in and do great. The good news? You don’t need to crate me when you leave—I'm trustworthy around the house, though I’m still polishing up the last little bit of my potty-training routine.   When it comes to other animals, cats don't bother me a bit (I pretty much just pretend they aren't there), and I do wonderful with dogs my size or smaller. Big dogs can make me nervous, and I can be a bit vocal and reactive on leash when unfamiliar things surprise me. The big outside world can feel intimidating sometimes, but I'm working hard on becoming a braver adventure buddy every single day. Luckily, I am very food motivated, so a tasty treat goes a long way in helping me learn and feel confident.   I’m looking for a patient, loving home ready for a loyal little shadow with tons of love to give. Could your lap be my forever spot?   Apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 10, 2026, 11:39 am

Story
Meet Oso! This one year old dapper Chihuahua loves his people, loves playing with squeaky toys, and loves receiving affection from those he trusts. He can take a moment to warm up, but once he does, he will steal your heart by showing you how silly and sweet he can be. Oso is reported to be housetrained and has done well living with other dogs in his previous home. He could enjoy living with respectful canine friends in his new home after a slow introduction. Oso is nervous in new environments, so he is staying in a foster home until he can find his new family. If you would like to set up a meet and greet please call our adoptions staff at 801-261-2919 ext. 227. Oso's adoption fee includes his neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, dewormers, microchip, a voucher for a free wellness exam, and a free training session with our behavior team!
