Pongo has been with us for over three years, and has been and very good family dog. He is very gentle with our grand children, and is very good natured. We believe he 6 years old now, we got him when he was about three but not 100% sure. Has lots of love to give, and we are struggling with a busy work schedule now and he needs a good home.

Story
We bought Duke from a CA breaded when he was 5 months old. He is almost 9 and a half now. He has been lavishly and lovingly raised by two elderly owners who, because of sudden physical problems cannot continue to keep him. Breaks our hearts but we hope to re-home him to another loving person. Seems to bond to a woman best. They are one-person dogs we think. Is an indoor dog ONLY, loves heat, his place in front of the fireplace. We have dog heated beds to give you, crates of Science Diet, his toys, etc. He's been a pampered, loved dog with years at K9 training and dog social sessions.

Story
Hi, my name is Hatch! I'm a sweet five-ish year old, 14 pound, male chihuahua mix, neutered, current on shots, and microchipped. I'm ready for my forever family! I love to snuggle & give kisses, grooming & playing with other dogs, I'm submissive and very energetic. I will follow you wherever you go. I like men, women, little kids, dogs, and cats! I'm completely potty trained and don't mark in the house. I currently live with two small kids and an older big dog, and we get along great! Playing fetch with a ball and toys is fun because I get to run super fast and get some energy out. I have an amazing appetite, and I'm not a picky eater. I will do anything for a treat! I am used to sleeping in my crate at night and like to have a little place to call my own. I do bark when I see new people or hear noises, but then I am very excited to greet them. Because of this, apartment life might not be for me. I would love to live in a house that has a fenced yard, people to be around, and kids to throw a ball for me. And can we talk about my ears? They are majestic!Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Story
Hi friends! My name is Alfie. I'm the sweetest little dude. I can be a little shy at first but warm up incredibly quickly to all humans and dogs. I love cats too, maybe a little too much though. I have total puppy energy, and love to wrestle, play chase, fling my toys around and chew on bones. Im still learning some boundaries and love to jump up and try and smother you with kisses. With a little guidance I can become the perfect companion for your family. Im still learning what it means to relax and snuggle but I am getting there! I am perfect in my crate and love burrowing under my blankets and bed. Doing great with potty training too.Dogs are not placed on a first-come first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal, applications may take up to 48 hours to complete. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Alfredo's adoption fee is $200. Story
Harvey is a super special senior who is looking for his super special humans. At about 10 years old, Harvey is old enough to know what he likes - eating and napping! - and what he doesn't - being touched unless it's his idea. Harvey can be a nervous guy around big dogs and new people, we haven't seen him around cats and he shouldn't live with children. Harvey comes by his hesitation honestly, he likely lived a life of neglect and finally abandonment before coming to CAWS and didn't get all the love and care a dog should receive. We're dedicated to changing that now! We know Harvey's people are out there - someone who will allow him to climb onto your lap when he's ready for cuddles, and someone who won't hold his tendency to snap when he feels threatened against him. Harvey has Cushing's disease and thyroid issues, and will require lifelong medication and dedicated care. Harvey does bark, so he'd do better in a house than an apartment with shared walls. If you think you have the big heart to give Harvey the life he deserves, please fill out an application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Harvey's adoption fee is $100. Story
Teddy is an 11 year old red colored Chihuahua mix about 10.5 pounds. Our precious little man came to be a part of the CAWS family after his 2 legged daddy passed and family couldn't keep him. Teddy is safe for life now cuz he's a CAWS dog, whew. He gets along great with all his foster siblings, big and small, male and female. Teddy seems to be totally house and crate trained but he doesn't actually have to be in a crate for long periods of time cuz he is actually one of numerous assistants during the day while his foster mommy works at home. When he does need or want some attention he does an ever so soft little whine or a soft bark when strangers come to the house or enter his back yard space. Teddy sleeps on the couch and bed with everyone else, on his back with his legs in the air, awe to be so comfortable, and that is such a good thing, honestly. He gives gentle kisses. Teddy does not act 11 years old, he loves to be in the back yard with his smaller 4 legged siblings and play, they are so cute together. At this time of his life Teddy needs to go to a home with older, or no children.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100. Story
He is a good mellow dog, 10 years old but still a pup at heart. Would prefer the two dogs to be adopted together. Brodee has no teeth but it able to eat regular dog food. Roxee is the other one in the picture, she is a Malshi 5 years old. She is a super sweet playful pup. Come with kennel, dog house, bowls, food and an enclosed portable dog run. Leashes etc. we have had both since pups. Unfortunately with kids and traveling sports we can’t give them the time and care they deserve.
