I weigh 10.8lbs and I am full grown and healthy at this weight. I have a very handsome face, don't I? I'm told I look a little intense at times, but that's just because I'm curious about the world around me...and about where my people are! haha, foster mom says I am a real velcro doggie and boy do I LOVE my people! In my foster home, I get to sleep in bed with the girl, and that's the BEST! I will sleep in my kennel if I'm asked to, but snuggling is my literal fave, so I definitely prefer being your bed buddy. I'm also great with all the other dogs! I share my bed space with another pup, too. I LOVE to play with my doggie friends and would do great with a canine sibling. Or not...as long as I have human love, I will be a happy boy! I am crate trained when you need to leave and I am working on potty training. My name is Yolanda and I am an almost 9 year old chihuahua. 9 is a great age for a chi - I have plenty of life left in me, AND I'm already a super good girl!  I am leash trained, crate trained and potty trained. I have nice house manners and I along very well with other dogs, too. In fact, I would *really* like a doggy friend in my forever home! I like the companionship. Like many chihuahuas, I am a bit nervous of new people, but I warm up quickly and I'm quite friendly after I verify that you are a nice new friend.  I am also good with kids. Foster mom says kids over 8 would probably be best, but I'd  probably be good with even younger kids, as long as they are nice and mom and dad keep an eye on things.  I have a bit of a sassy streak. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello, I am Ivory Lace.  I am 12-year-old, 8 lb. spayed female, Senior Chihuahua mix.   I am a happy-go-lucky girl. Naps and puttering around the garden are my hobbies. I like to take my time to enjoy the finer things in life, such as a warm bed on a sunny day and car rides with my human.   I get along great with my dog siblings, they are small like me. I have never met a cat. I am sweet and give a tail wag to new humans I meet. I have not met any kids, but due to my small size and my age, I will be best placed in a home with older kids or no kids and a place with calm energy.   I do well on a leash, I stay active by sniffing flowers and grass on my daily block walk with my siblings. I will bark to let you know if I need to go outside or if I need your attention for some snacks. Sometimes I must tell my foster mom to hurry up with my breakfast bowl. We senior girls like our schedule!   I will go in my kennel and sleep in the kennel at night after a brief protest.
