I am a very sweet little man, looking for a patient home with a doggy friend (or two!) I am still quite shy with people, though I am coming out of my shell more every day and foster mom says I am ready to find my people. I am very sweet, I would never bite you - I'm just still very unsure of what people want from me. I think I must have spent very little time around humans, and my first instinct is still to run away and hide. A secure yard and home will be very important for me in my forever home, so I can stay safe. What I *really* love are my doggy friends! Having a pack to hang out and play with is very important for me! I learn so much from my pack, and they make me feel so much more comfortable! I'm happy to hang out with dogs of any age or size, as long as they will be nice to me! I am very happy to hang out in my crate and I am almost completely potty trained (no accidents lately!) though foster mom says a belly band is still a good idea for the first few days, since getting used to a new home can be rough! I’m Frankin and I’m a 5 month old 10lb chihuahua mix (I’m really a big mish-mash!) with the cutest giant ears. I’m a happy go lucky puppy who just wants to play and play and play! My mom was only about 20lbs so I should be a nice smaller dog size. But don’t let my size fool you, I am a ball of energy! I would do great in an active home, as I love to play and run and be a puppy! I’ve been in a home with a cat and kids and I’m good with the kids, but I want to bark at and chase the cat, so I would be best in a no-cat house. I’m great with other dogs, but am on the bossy/assertive side. I’m pretty brave and treat motivated and learn quickly, so I would be easy to train to do whatever fun adventures you would like to do with me! My potty training is still in the early stages, but I do hold it at night and when taken out on a schedule do a good job of going outside. It shouldn't take too much more training for me to be a pro! I am your typical puppy at about 6 months of age, what that means is that I am still working on my manners like potty training (I’m almost there!), knowing what food isn’t for me and what toys aren’t for me. I will likely stay small. I am shy but warm up quickly and once you have my heart, you have it forever! My foster mom says I am the definition of a Velcro dog, I go where you go. I live with two other dogs that are similar to me in size and do really well with them. If I meet a dog bigger than me, it is kind of scary but with a proper introduction my foster mom thinks I’ll do well. I live with two toddlers and do fantastic with them. I am crate trained as well. I’m Drak and I’m a 5 month old 10 lb brindle chihuahua mix (I’m really a big mish-mash!) with the cutest giant ears. I’m a happy go lucky puppy who just wants to play and play and play! My mom was only about 20lbs so I should be a nice smaller dog size. After I came into the rescue, my foster mom discovered I have a super power! I was born with a vision impairment that left me with little to no sight, but my superpower is my great hearing, smell and smarts helps me compensate pretty well! I’m kind of like Daredevil! And I’m still just a fun loving puppy who wants cuddles, play time and some treats. I’ve been in a home with kids and I’m great with them, but do jump up sometimes so babies and little toddlers might not like that, but I should grow out of that with training. I’m sure the cat at my foster’s house shouldn't be here and keep trying to pick fights I can’t win, so I would be best in a no-cat house. I’m great with other dogs, but dogs that are too aggressive with their play scare me because I can’t see it coming. I do enjoy having another dog around though to help me feel more safe and secure and confident! My potty training is still in the early stages, but I do hold it at night and when taken out on a schedule do a good job of going outside. It shouldn't take too much more training for me to be a pro! I sleep well in my crate at night, for a puppy, and am still working on leash training. My foster can recommend a great trainer who has experience with blind dogs to help me get off to the best start! Dogs with vision impairments can live a full and happy life.
