Story
Meet Midge, the 9-year-old Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a nose keen on exploration. She's a darling who cherishes her cuddle time but is equally content to nap on her own doggy bed. Midge has a gentle soul and enjoys the simple things in life—like snuggling on the couch or sunbathing in the yard. Though she generally gets along well with other dogs, she's a lady who values her personal space and won't hesitate to vocalize when her boundaries are crossed. Midge walks on a leash but be warned: she's a 'stop and smell the roses' (and everything else) kind of gal! While she's crate-trained, Midge prefers the freedom of letting herself out at night for a quick sip of water or an outdoor break. She thrives when she has either a human or a furry companion by her side throughout the day. Midge will thrive in a home where she can be showered with affection and have her unique preferences respected. If you're someone who appreciates the finer things in life, like a loyal companion who will stick by your side (but also values her independence), Midge may just be your perfect match! Midge has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, has tested negative for heartworm and has been microchipped. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application on our website (uaaf.org). For more information, call/text Kirsty at (435) 671-0985 or email Kirsty.ju@gmail.com.

Story
Meet Deno, our delightful senior Chihuahua, who is nothing short of a little bundle of joy! With his sweet disposition, he fits right in with both cats and dogs, and his love for people is boundless. Deno thrives on companionship and adores being by your side, whether it’s snuggling up for a cozy nap or following you around the house, always eager to join your adventures. This little fellow (6 lbs.) has a big heart, and although he has a heart murmur, it doesn’t require any medication at this time. With a bit of medication, he’s living his best life and takes his seizure meds like a complete champ—just pop them in a pill pocket, and he’ll think he’s getting a tasty treat! Deno is not just a loyal companion; he’s also a quiet and gentle soul, who rarely barks. He enjoys his food but would thrive on a controlled feeding routine to keep him healthy and happy. His age, size and health wouldn’t mix well with young kids. His ideal home would be with a single person or couple. If you’re looking for a loving buddy to share your life with, Deno is your perfect match! He’s ready to fill your days with warmth and affection—don’t miss the chance to make him part of your family! Deno has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting Deno, please complete an adoption application on our website -(uaaf.org). For more information, call/text Tammy, 801-230-9789 or email Tammygustaveson624@gmail.com.

Story
Hello world! My name is Al Pawcino, bit my friends call me Chino! I am currently looking for my furever! I used to have a family, but due to a series of unfortunate events, I landed in the shelter. That’s where UAAF saw me and soon after, broke me out of there. I am six pounds of nothing but love and adoration for the people in my life! I am really good at using a dog door to take myself potty, and believe it or not, I rarely bark. I know, hard to believe from a Chihuahua, but it’s true. I am a loyal companion who just loves being where my people are. I sleep quietly all night curled up under the covers with them, and like to cuddle on the couch for TV too. I strut very proudly on my leash and would really like to take walks whenever possible. I recently had a dental procedure and lost all but 7 of my teeth. I feel much better now, crazy how much those were bothering me. Now that I have a clean bill of health, my foster mom says I need to find a home, so she doesn’t end up with another baby. If you think you’re ready for all the amazingness I have to offer. Al Pawchino has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org). For more information, call/text Randee at 801-232-8157 or email randeekrichardson@gmail.com.

Story
Introducing the one and only, Dolly Pawton! This pint-sized superstar weighs in at a whopping 5 lbs. of pure love and snuggles! As an older gal, Dolly knows the art of relaxation like a pro and will happily follow you around, claiming her title as your official shadow. Just try to leave the room without her—good luck with that! Dolly’s a little on the skinny side and could use a few extra treats (who can blame her?), so she’s on a mission to gain some fluffiness. But don’t worry, she’s already got the ‘snuggle monster’ badge locked down. Pro She plays well with small dogs, but when it comes to cats, let’s just say she’s still conducting some serious research. Dolly dreams of finding a forever home where she can bask in all the love and feel like the queen she is—because let’s face it, she totally deserves to be the center of your universe! Thanks to her recent dental adventure (sorry, Dolly, we know it’s not a walk in the park), she’ll need soft food and treats—just think of them as her fancy first-class dining experience! And when the sun sets, don’t be surprised if this little lovebug gives you a gentle nudge to remind you it’s snuggle o’clock! Oh, and she’s working on her potty training—she’s a fast learner and is already a potty pad pro! So, if you’re ready to welcome this delightful diva into your life, Dolly Pawton is just waiting to be spoiled rotten! Dolly has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
