Her attitude towards dogs IS RELENTLESS can be challenging for me at 57 living with a chronic pain and auto immune. her energy level AND STRONG PREY DRIVE is too much most days. We walk around a lake 3 xs daily. she tries to lounge at ducks n geese and bikes etc NEEDS A SECURE PRIVATE AREA TO RUN I’ve moved furniture to zoom plus play fetch inside to burn energy. There’s to much action front of our apt Shes ALWAYS ON HIGH ALERT and is stressful. MUST BE WILLING TO MEET with proper introduction. she has accepted a few people. on the walks if shes acting spicy n amped up we pause often as others walk past n calm her down befor continuing. PLS NO KIDS! Uses beep collar to stop constant barking. hurumphs under her breath Cute enough correction. Crate trained house trained no records. Her original owner needed urgent placement with talk then ghosted BUT I SEE NOW IAM TOO FRAIL TO KEEP UP. SADLY IS NOT SUSTAINABLE TO CONTINUE HER CARE

Rascal Lovebug is a 10-month-old male Chihuahua mix with a heart full of love and a personality that lives up to his name. Weighing about 19 pounds, he’s the perfect blend of playful energy and cuddle-ready sweetness. This handsome boy is super sweet and affectionate and absolutely adores cuddling with his people. He loves being around people and other dogs and enjoys making new friends wherever he goes. When he’s not soaking up affection, Rascal Lovebug is happiest running and playing outside, burning off his puppy energy and having fun. Rascal is doing great with house training and crate training, and he’s continuing to improve his leash skills—he’s making very good progress and eager to keep learning. He’s a smart, happy pup who just wants to please. Rascal Lovebug does have a grade 5 heart murmur, but it certainly doesn’t define him. He doesn’t let it slow him down and continues to live life with joy, enthusiasm, and plenty of tail wags. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
