Story
Lucky (1 year old, 18-20 lbs) seems to love everyone he meets. He has that young dog energy and is very playful with other dogs. So far he has gotten along with both big and small dogs. He will happily chase or be chased all around the yard! Because he's so young and loves to play, he's still working on listening  to cues when other dogs might be done playing.  Lucky currently lives with two dogs and a cat. He has shown a little interest in the cat, but the interest is waning as the cat has let him know she doesn't want a new friend. He may still go up to her, but with a bit of redirection from cat or human he will go tend to other matters. In fact, as I write this they are on opposite ends of the couch ignoring each other.  He is very affectionate with humans. He loves to cuddle, get belly rubs, and he will sleep with you at night if you let him. Soooo sweet and cuddly.  Lucky enjoys his walks and has done well on leash. Not too much pulling and he has not been leash reactive when he sees other dogs. He loves to make quick stops and investigate spots of interest with a sniff or two. He is potty trained and has not been destructive at all.   I don't recommend any small kids in the household as he occasionally will nip for attention or gnaw/get mouthy while playing.  Apply for Lucky here: https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159 ##2124310##

Story
Let me introduce you to Milo, a 9 year old Chihuahua mix at 16.5 lbs. He's a bit over weight but he is walking more so it will be coming off. Milo loves walks above anything else, except food. He does well on a leash and gets along well with all dogs I have seen, (even though he may bark at them), and my two cats. Milo is active and would do best with older kids.Milo is an easy going, cuddly, house trained dog. His expressive face goes from curious to hopeful to excited and joyful. It has been a real pleasure to have this guy around. Milo's ideal family will spend time with him on walks and at home. He will be less likely to be 'vocal' with companions around. He REALLY likes being with his humans and is a bit anxious when left alone. One of his legs has common condition in dogs called a Luxating Patella, but it doesn't slow him down, He just lifts it up and runs around 3 legged. If you would like to meet Milo please fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and his foster mom will contact you. By the way my adoption fee is $280 but I am all up to date on vaccinations, chipped and neutered.

Story
Copper is a sweet good boy in search of his forever family. He is a shy guy who doesn't like being in the spotlight, but will steal your heart with his puppy eyes, smooth coat, and soft snores. Gentle and reserved, Cooper has fear issues, but is bravely working through them and is on medication to help him manage. He will need an experienced dog home who will help him build confidence and trust with consistency, exercise, and patience. Copper is crate trained, house trained, and great on leash! He would benefit from having another confident dog(s) in the house. He has not been cat tested, but we think he would be fine. Older, dog savvy kids would be okay, but no littles as they could overwhelm him. Adopting Copper and helping him achieve his lap dog dreams will take work, but your efforts will be rewarded in multitudes by the love this handsome buddy has to give. He would not be comfortable in an apartment as if alone he may bark and he needs to run and exercise on his own at time. If you would like to meet Copper please fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and the foster mom will be in touch. He is fully vetter, Neutered and Chipped and only $320 for an adoption fee.

Story
My name is Sadie, and Im a diamond in a rhinestone world! Me and my sister, Penny, are looking for the dream home to spend our days cuddling, exploring, and stealing your heart. After being surrendered by my previous owner, Ive had no trouble making new friends and finding peace wherever I end up. I love kids, other small dogs, and respectful cats. My perfect home would be with someone who can take me on occasional short walks and keep my luxurious fur well groomed. Even though Im entering my senior years, I have no trouble keeping up with fun activities and Im in tip top shape. I may be a little shy at first, but any warm lap is my happy place. As long as I can continue living with Penny, I can adapt to many different types of living environments. Could you be my newest BFF?Penny and I are currently in a foster home - please reach out to an Animal Aid representative to meet us.Approx. Date of Birth: 6/24/2014 Weight: 15 lbs

🐾 Meet Prancer! 🐾 Hello! I'm Prancer, and I might be the sweetest dog you'll ever meet. Once I find my forever person or family, I never want to leave their side, showing unwavering loyalty and affection. I'm currently flourishing in my foster home. I'm mastering both potty and crate training and making excellent progress! Although I have cerebellar hypoplasia, which means I wobble a bit when I walk and can seem uncoordinated, it just adds to my unique charm. I may be shy when meeting new people, but I warm up quickly and genuinely enjoy their company once I get to know them. Watch me here: https://youtu.be/r0IX-vDP0S8?si=XUxW8Z5Yg32UQlj3 My demeanor is calm, sweet, and gentle, and I don't get overwhelmed easily, making me a soothing companion. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport.
