Story
Let me introduce you to Milo, a 9 year old Chihuahua mix at 16.5 lbs. He's a bit over weight but he is walking more so it will be coming off. Milo loves walks above anything else, except food. He does well on a leash and gets along well with all dogs I have seen, (even though he may bark at them), and my two cats. Milo is active and would do best with older kids.Milo is an easy going, cuddly, house trained dog. His expressive face goes from curious to hopeful to excited and joyful. It has been a real pleasure to have this guy around. Milo's ideal family will spend time with him on walks and at home. He will be less likely to be 'vocal' with companions around. He REALLY likes being with his humans and is a bit anxious when left alone. One of his legs has common condition in dogs called a Luxating Patella, but it doesn't slow him down, He just lifts it up and runs around 3 legged. If you would like to meet Milo please fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and his foster mom will contact you. By the way my adoption fee is $280 but I am all up to date on vaccinations, chipped and neutered.

Story
Copper is a sweet good boy in search of his forever family. He is a shy guy who doesn't like being in the spotlight, but will steal your heart with his puppy eyes, smooth coat, and soft snores. Gentle and reserved, Cooper has fear issues, but is bravely working through them and is on medication to help him manage. He will need an experienced dog home who will help him build confidence and trust with consistency, exercise, and patience. Copper is crate trained, house trained, and great on leash! He would benefit from having another confident dog(s) in the house. He has not been cat tested, but we think he would be fine. Older, dog savvy kids would be okay, but no littles as they could overwhelm him. Adopting Copper and helping him achieve his lap dog dreams will take work, but your efforts will be rewarded in multitudes by the love this handsome buddy has to give. He would not be comfortable in an apartment as if alone he may bark and he needs to run and exercise on his own at time. If you would like to meet Copper please fill out the application on OFOSA.ORG and the foster mom will be in touch. He is fully vetter, Neutered and Chipped and only $320 for an adoption fee.

Story
This little girl is aptly named. She has a very sunny personality. She is lively, playful, and meant to love. She even has a tan heart shaped spot on her back as proof. She has done everything right in her short life, but she has not met the right humans who can provide her with a home that she can count on to be forever. Sunny would benefit from a home that has structure, predictability, stability, and consistency to help her feel secure. She needs a human, or a family who can promise her a commitment.Sunny currently lives in a home with other dogs, and has made some close friends with other fosters. A pairing with a more passive dog would be best. While not aggressive, Sunny is a leader and likely to control the playtime. She may even provide a correction or two. In a secure environment, Sunny is friendly, social, and enjoys LOTS of attention. In a more open environment, or one in which she feels vulnerable (like on walks), she barks at passing people and dogs. With gentle correction she is learning she doesn't have to do that. Being a Chihuahua Sunny is loyal and strong minded. She is silly. She will entertain you, and make you laugh. Give her a basket of toys and a backyard, and she can entertain herself. She can be impulsive, but she is very intelligent, and with training she learns things quickly. Sunny would be happy in a home with adults or with a family with late teen or young adult children. She is learning to be comfortable being left alone, This is an important consideration if interested in adopting. She is an active girl, and does need an outlet for her energy, but she is also very happy to sit in a lap to keep you company or spoon with you at night. No Apartment life for Sunny. She is fully vetted and her adoption fee is only $320. and she weights about 8 pounds. To meet Sunny please fill out the application at OFOSA.ORG. Thank you

Story
We welcome you to meet Howard the troll! He is an elusive creature, rarely seen unless you try to cross his bridge, or sit at the dining room table that he's living under. Much like a real troll Howard can be somewhat hostile towards humans. Howard would much prefer to be out in wilderness, he honestly could have been a feral cat living in a colony somewhere wild and free. Howard loves other dogs and is great with cats but, unless you are some kind of super human who really works for his love he's likely to avoid you. He’s also much like a teenager who doesn’t want anything to do with you, unless of course he wants something. Howard didn’t have the best start to life, he lived his first few years in a hoarding situation. That is why he feels most comfortable with other animals and thinks humans are jerks. I mean really, can you blame him? With the right super person the best of Howard will come out. Howard needs a home that understands that he may never fully come around, that he won't be their lap dog or snuggle buddy. He would love to just live in a corner of you house, spend time in your yard, play with your dogs and eat your food. If you are looking for an awkward roommate who you only see every now and again, Howard is the weird dude you're looking for!
