Meet MJ! 🐾🧡 MJ is a sweet boy who is currently looking for a patient forever family to help him blossom. He can be quite fearful and unsure of new people and unfamiliar environments, so he needs a quiet home where he can take his time settling in. Luckily, he is highly motivated by tasty treats, which is the perfect way to make friends with him! 🍖✨ Once MJ learns he can trust you, he completely transforms-he loves nothing more than going on fun walks and will happily let you pick him up and hold him once he's fully comfortable. If you have the patience to show this gentle pup the world isn't so scary, MJ will reward you with a lifetime of love and loyalty! 🏡❤️ Primary Color: Tan Weight: 24.8 Age: 4yrs 1mths 3wks

**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Buzz — the little guy who will buzz his way right into your heart 🐾 Buzz is a 3-year-old Chihuahua/Terrier mix weighing about 13 pounds, and he’s packed with personality. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people and likes a minute to warm up, but once he does, he’ll be buzzing around you with his goofy, playful energy. He loves hanging out with his people and being part of whatever you’re doing—especially if snacks are involved (those are definitely his favorite!). Buzz walks nicely on a leash, knows how to sit, is crate trained, and is currently doing well on his house training. He gets along well with other dogs and even cats, making him a great fit for lots of different homes. With just a little patience at first, Buzz will quickly turn into your loyal sidekick, always nearby and ready to keep you smiling. If you’re looking for a small dog who will buzz his way into your daily life and never leave your side, Buzz is your guy. Interested in becoming a forever home for Buzz? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ/OR, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

**Please note this is pet is currently out of town pet but we will transport this pet to OR for you when adopted. All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Phoenix! 🔥 Phoenix is an adorable 1-year-old, 11-pound boy who’s ready to rise into his new beginning! This sweet pup may be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, he melts into the most affectionate, people-loving companion you could ask for. Phoenix walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys running around outside, exploring the world with his gentle confidence. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be happy to have a canine buddy in his new home. He’s also making great progress with his house and crate training—smart boy! He came into rescue after being lovingly surrendered by a family who simply had too many dogs, through no fault of his own. Now Phoenix is ready for a forever home where he can shine and soak up all the attention, love, and treats he can get. If you’re looking for a sweet, soft-hearted companion with a spark of playful energy, Phoenix might just be the perfect match. Let him rise to the occasion and brighten your life! Story
Star (Starscream) is a 3 1/2 month old dachsund chihuahua (chiweenie) mix who's about 8.5 lbs of absolute puppy love.  His full name isn't "starscream" because he likes to scream, but was a part of a litter that was named after transformers! lol He is a sweet even-tempered puppy who arrived to our rescue with his mom & two other siblings at just 2 days old and has been in a foster home ever since. He likes being held in your arms, and enjoys getting affection and belly rubs. As a young puppy, he's learning lots of things like potty training, crate training, some very basic tricks like "sit" and "touch". He sleeps great in a crate throughout the night by his foster mom's bed, and if he needs to go out in the early morning for a potty he'll wake you up with a cute little yowl to let you know he's up. He knows how to settle in a crate for a few hours when he has to be left alone, and will wait patiently for you to let him out when you get back. His potty training skills are going great, and knows what "go potty" means, but of course will need continued positive reinforcement and chaperoning to go outside. He loves to play with toys and any enrichment activities you give him like "go find it" or a snuffle mat, and is in his teething phase so loves to chew on treats like bully sticks and cow ears. Even though he's teething he is gentle to not bite hard on your hands. He's always down to lay in your lap when it's time to wind down, and likes to keep his foster mom company while she works from home. Star currently lives with his mom Chromia who's still with the foster home, and really enjoys her company as well as the other 3 small resident dogs so we think he'd love to have another dog to grow up with that he can play with! He's a few weeks too young to go on walks, but does well in car rides and is still learning what a big wide world it is outside the home. He can initially be a little shy meeting people especially now that his siblings have left, but warms up with treats and gentleness! We know with more positive experiences and training he'll come out of his shell more and grows more confident each day. Puppies adopted from Underdogs Rock! Rescue are required to go to force-free puppy classes with their new families because we know these classes are essential to providing puppies and their new families with a foundation of guidance and support as they grow up. Underdog puppies will have  their vaccines and microchipped covered, and our rescue will cover their spay/neuter when they reach the appropriate age. Adoption fee is $525. He is being fostered in SE Portland. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at  https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog  . You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and will be conducted virtually. For updates on all the Underdogs be sure to follow the Underdogs Rock Rescue Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/UnderdogsRockRescue July 4, 2026, 2:42 am
