Max is a good dog. He was a rescue dog who was found as a tiny puppy, the only one alive in his litter. I have to relocate and unfortunately, where I’ll be staying I can't take him with me. I’m hoping to find him a good home rather than the alternative of placing him in a shelter.Max is:• Potty pad trained• Alert to doorbells and knocks• A "tough" guy behind his backyard fence• Skittish when meeting new people• Accustomed to using pads for potty breaksMax is skittish at first, but with a little care and time, he eventually warms up. He isn’t a "yapper" unless someone he doesn't know comes into the house, and he will occasionally bark at the doorbell or dogs on the TV. He came into rescue after being lovingly surrendered by a family who simply had too many dogs, through no fault of his own. Now Phoenix is ready for a forever home where he can shine and soak up all the attention, love, and treats he can get. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Meet Liam and Lex! An adorable pair of 11-year old brothers searching for their forever home. These two are a bonded duo, so we're hoping to place them together, and trust us, they would also prefer that. Despite their age, they're playful, spunky, and absolutely adore each other. When they're not wrestling or exploring, they're happiest curled up in a lap or getting some tasty treats! They are crate trained and respectful in the home; no chewing or destructive habits. They can be shy at first, so they need an adopter who can offer patience and consistency and loves to go on walks! Liam and Lex would thrive in a home without small children and with someone who appreciates their bond. Sashimi is a 9-year-old Chihuahua born in December 2016. We adopted her as a puppy from a family who found her mother pregnant and fostered her and her littermate until they were ready for homes. Sashimi is a loving, cuddly girl who adores people. Her favorite things: cuddling on the couch and sleeping under the blanket in bed with you. She is sweet, and happiest when she's close to people. Sashimi needs a home where she is the only dog. She lived happily with our two senior dogs for years and loved them dearly, but after they passed away we adopted a larger dog, and despite working with a trainer, the two just cannot get along. They are kept separated, but we worry about her safety and quality of life, and we want her to have a peaceful home where she can relax and be herself. She would do best in a quiet home with someone who will cuddles and understands she wants to be your one and only. If you're looking for a devoted, affectionate little companion, Sashimi is ready to love you.
