Story
Meet sweet and happy Timmy! This adorable mix (Chi? Pomeranian? Spainel? these and more?) charms everyone with his glossy black coat and soulful eyes. He’s approximately 1 years old and about 18 pounds.    Timmy has been in a foster home since mid-December and has settled in nicely. He has been a delightful and fun houseguest and all around good guy. He quickly picked up on a potty schedule and is house trained! Such a good boy! Timmy gets along well with his bigger foster sister. They play on occasion and then contentedly nap near each other. He loves to go on walks and sniff all the things outside. Timmy needs a secured backyard as he has proven himself able to squeeze through very small openings. He hasn’t been too interested in hanging outside alone, he prefers to go out and do his business and then be inside with his people. That said, his personality will continue to emerge as he gets more comfortable. Timmy is interested in other dogs while out walking, and is excited to meet new dogs. As a young pup, he and his owners would benefit from force free training and socializing classes.  He hasn’t proved to be much of a barker in the house, but is learning to bark at the door from his foster sister. As like most dogs, Timmy wants to chase squirrels or anything moving fast, so cats in the home might not be ideal. He has not been tested with kids either, though would likely be fine with respectful, dog savvy kids. Timmy is a young dog and loves to chew on his toys. If there aren’t toys to his liking available he will chew something else (we didn’t like that phone charger anyway).  Timmy would love a home that will continue with positive training, take him on walks, let him sleep on the bed and snuggle up for movies. He wants to be included as part of the family and would not thrive being left alone all day. Are you the perfect home for this darling super smart boy?   Underdogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $390.  Timmy is being fostered in SE Portland. You MUST have an Underdogs Rock Rescue application on file to request a meet with an Underdog. An online Underdogs Rock adoption application can only be accessed at  https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog. You must be available to meet an Underdog in their foster's location and dogs are not held for applicants or shipped outside of the Portland metro area. Home checks are also part of the process and will be conducted virtually. For updates on all the Underdogs be sure to follow the Underdogs Rock Rescue Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/UnderdogsRockRescueJanuary 7, 2026, 2:31 am

This adorable 1-year-old, 9-pound Chihuahua boy is as sweet as his name suggests! Noodle walks nicely on a leash and enjoys spending time with his people. He gets along well with other dogs and would be happy to have a furry friend in his new home. He loves his toys and running aorund outside. He’s currently working on his house and crate training and is making great progress with a consistent routine. This little guy came to us as an owner surrender due to having too many dogs in the home—no fault of his own. Now he’s ready for a fresh start and a forever family who will love him for the sweet, sensitive, loyal boy he is. If you’re looking for a gentle, heart-melting companion with a cute name and an even cuter personality, Noodle Al Dente might be your perfect match! Interested in becoming a forever home for Noodle?
