Story
This handsome boy needs a very special person in his life, as he struggles to trust many humans. Prince might like someone immediately, but it is rare. He did not like his foster mom at all initially, but now he is loving and adoring of her. He is an outgoing and fun dog once he chooses to trust someone; otherwise, he makes it clear that he prefers to be left alone. Prince lives with many other dogs and is exceptionally playful with the smaller dogs in his home. He has not been cat tested, but ignores the cats in their catio in his foster home. He has learned to accept and walk on a leash and even enjoys going for walks now. He is house-trained and has good house manners, which is excellent because he hates being in a crate. He needs a home with minimal people coming and going, and/or a place where he can be away from those who do not live with him, and where there are no young children. His perfect home would be with his human, and how many other dogs his human would like to have live with them.Prince is fully vetted, current with vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and on flea and tick, as well as heartworm, prevention.

Story
Meet Bravo, a 35-pound sweetheart with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. While he may be a little timid at first, he warms up quickly and becomes an affectionate, loyal companion. Bravo gets along well with other dogs and shows no signs of food aggression. He’s still working on building his confidence, doorways and new environments can be a little scary but he’s improving every day and walking better on a leash with each outing. Bravo is not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home would be best. With a little patience and a lot of love, he’ll thrive in a calm, caring home where he can continue to blossom.

Story
Meet Theo -- Your Gentle, Playful Companion! Born around April 1, 2025, Theo is a distinguished young pup with wise eyes and a heart full of sweetness. He adores playing with his littermates and foster family -- adults, kids, and even cats! His floppy ears often flip inside out, and he&#39s happiest lounging on the couch with his people. Theo is a toy enthusiast, especially stuffed ones (though he&#39s known to un-stuff them with gusto!). He&#39s all about treats, cuddles, and soaking up attention. While he can get a little rowdy when excited, he just needs gentle guidance around smaller children. Theo is looking for a loving home with time to help him grow -- crate training, leash walking, and housebreaking are still on his to-do list. He&#39d thrive with an active family, a yard to play in, and a cozy indoor bed to call his own. With his giant heart and playful spirit, Theo will fill your life with joy, loyalty, and endless affection. Theo is neutered, UTD on shots and boosters, microchipped, and currently on monthly NexGard and Heartgard. Theo is part of the Guest Dog Program through DFW Rescue Me. His foster family will bring him to a home visit for any potential forever families for a meet and greet. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Theo is participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.October 26, 2025, 6:21 pm

Story
Meet Shiloh -- A Gentle Spirit with a Playful Heart. Born around April 1, 2025, Shiloh is a calm, sweet-natured pup with a quiet charm that&#39s impossible to resist. She has a long body, big paws, and adorably short legs but don&#39t let those fool you. She was the first of her litter to master jumping their 40&#34 play yard fence, proving that determination beats leg length every time! Shiloh loves attention and tries her best to jump up for cuddles. Her floppy bloodhound-like ears and stunning brindle coat give her a unique beauty, and her soulful eyes speak volumes, always asking for love. She&#39s playful and affectionate, enjoying toys, tug-of-war with her littermates, and snuggle time with humans. She&#39s wonderful with kids, other dogs, and cats, and she knows exactly when it&#39s bedtime, just shake the treat jar and she&#39s ready to settle in. Shiloh currently lives in an outdoor kennel with her littermates due to space limitations in her foster home. She&#39s still learning to feel safe and relaxed indoors but settles down with one-on-one cuddle time. Shiloh is looking for a forever home that will have time to crate train her because she is not housebroken, time to teach her how to walk on a leash, time to take her on walks, a yard to play in, and a warm, safe bed to sleep in indoors every night. She would love an active family because she loves running around and playing. She has lots of puppy energy left to burn! The right forever family will be blessed by her giant heart, and she will repay them with all the love and affection in the world! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. She’s had a tough start to life and found herself in a city shelter in Euless after raising a couple of litters of puppies all on her own. That chapter is now closed—and Panda is ready to be someone’s baby instead. She’s finished with mama duties and excited to start her “good life” era! Panda is incredibly sweet, smart, and playful. She’s both dog- and people-friendly and truly loves everyone she meets. We believe she’s potty trained, and her Border Collie intelligence shines through in everything she does. Story
Looking for a young female to adopt? Meet JUNO! Juno is a Border Collie lovers DREAM! She is everything you would want in a BC puppy (under 1 year old). She is a lovely girl and full of energy, well trained for the most part. Happy, healthy, spayed, FUN, and BEAUTIFUL, this pup is magnificent! She loves to swim, play with toys, and do tricks for treats! She is fostered in a home with cats and doesn't seem bothered by them. Sometimes she wants to play (which is not allowed, cat's preference) but is not aggressive with them. She has been around very young children a little bit but her puppy energy is too much for small children. Children over age 10 who know how to handle a dog should be ok. She crates well. If you seriously want a stunning BC pup, this is your girl! Apply to adopt at bcrrt.com.

Story
Meet Izzy bizzy bee   Izzy is a very special girl and she’s looking for her very special family, maybe that’s you or someone you know!  Izzy is a former alumni dog who has come back to BCRRT - through no fault of her previous family - unfortunately circumstances changed and it was best for all parties that Izzy come back to us.  Since being back we have learnt all about Izzy and her wonderful personality. We have discovered the love she gives us is never ending, the cuddles she produces are out of this world and that she loves nothing more than her donut ring toy and a tennis ball!! She does take time to warm up but once she trusts you, she bonds to her person/people and is ready for all the adventures that lie ahead.  Izzy will need a home that is quiet but one that can stimulate her fun, loving energy! Izzy does take time to adjust to new people/strangers but once she knows you, she is all cuddles. She would be best suited to a family with no young children and no other dogs.  She is such a sweet girl with love to give and would love to find her forever home with people willing to spend time with her, throwing a ball around, quiet walks with her humans and cuddles.  She is active but has an excellent off-switch and knows when it is time for inside vs outside. Izzy would do well with an older couple, maybe an empty-nest home where she can be spoilt forever and ever. In return she will give you her unwavering loyalty and spunk  Izzy is around 6 years old, UTD on all shots and spayed. She is crate trained but is perfectly fine out of one, she walks well on a leash but is strong. She rides well in a car and is located in the DFW area.  Interested? Reach out to us and apply today! We believe Izzy deserves the world and can’t wait to help her find it.

Story
Are you a gentle person looking for a companion who is easy to exercise in your fenced yard and a wonderfully entertaining friend? That’s ME! I’m Sydney! I’m a small girl (34 lbs), 1.5 years old, spayed, healthy, vaccinated BC/Mini Aussie mix. I like training exercises (treats!) and learn fast! I sleep deeply through the night in my comfy crate and don’t mind spending a bit of time there during the day if you have to run errands (like getting me new tennis balls!) I have a busy mind, will bark at sudden noises (so apartment living would not be a good fit). I can be picky about canine friends and not a good buddy for birds, cats, squirrels, rabbits, or small children. I am smart and sensitive, will follow you everywhere, look to you for guidance and comfort (and tennis balls). I truly want to please you. I am expressive, have the cutest wiggle butt you’ve EVER seen, and if you love to laugh out loud, I’m your girl! I am currently in the DFW area and ready to be adopted! Apply for me at bcrrt.com.
