Rosie is a precious sweet girl who arrived at the shelter on 9/10/25. She is good with dogs, cats and children. She will steal your heart with her loving and cute smile. She is house trained and follows commands to sit and lay down. Rosie was brought in because she climbs fences and cannot be left alone outside. She is eagerly waiting to leave the shelter and begin enjoying life in her new FOREVER home. Rosie is 2 years old and weighs 25 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. Rio is an adorable 4 year old boy that is misunderstood. He’s being a little difficult in the shelter environment so because of this he is deemed rescue only. He’s great on the leash and sits nicely for treats. He’s 21 lbs, up to date on vaccinations, combo tested negative and will be neutered and microchipped upon rescue. Jaid came to DREAM after her owners never returned for her while staying with neighbor. She’s a sweet little gal looking for a place to land and a lap to cuddle on. We know very little about her past (not even her age-its just a guess) but we have followed some clues that lead us to believe she’s had back surgery in the past. She walks just fine and to the untrained eye she walks with an adorable swish. She has had all her regular vetting (shots, tests, spay) and also some imaging. She was having some issues and scanned showed cystitis and she is being treated for that. Don’t let all that medical talk fool ya, this gal is got spunk and is living out loud with many years left to share her passion for taking in all life has to give. I'm Sprout, and I am 110% dachshund. I have it ALL -- everything you've heard about dachshunds? I've got it. Snuggly? Check. Food motivated? Yup. Nosy up in all your business? Oh yeah. Demanding of attention? See nosy. Burrow under blankies? All the time. Barky? BARK BARK Back problems? Yup, but I'm a trooper. Funny? SO FUNNY. Sweet kisses? I got 'em. Prey drive. Oh yeah. Show me the squirrel. Nippy with strangers? Well, they're strangers. Duh. Then I sit in their lap. I'm 9 pounds of love and pure nerve. I love my people and I love my doggie friends. I'm a big fan of the couch cuddle and the wrestling zoomies. Adults and kiddos over 10 only please. I had a disc rupture (darn dachshund genes) but I walk pretty normally now. I can run and play but I cannot do stairs. (I can climb a ramp.) I have pretty good control of my bladder but if you give me a little extra squeeze when we go outside (foster mom will teach you), I don't leak in the house. I am about to start some physical therapy to improve my core strength, which will help with that. PILATES, anyone? I am a delight to be around and a real charmer. Midnight ended up at animal control after his owners abandoned him at a clinic. He was held for a while but with so many dogs he ended up on the euthanasia list. Can you imagine? This little guy is a very nice dog with a great temperament. He loves to hang with his people way more than the other dogs at his foster home. He appears to prefer the company of the females in the foster home pack. His foster family believe he is mixed with corgi or other herding breed because he has a habit of jumping and mouthing to get attention. Midnight is not rally a vocal dog. But when he has something to say it is in a a "Big Dog" bark but the good news is he's not a huge barker unless he's excited about something. Midnight sleeps quietly in a crate like a gentleman. Midnight is completely potty trained. He no longer takes any medicine for anything but when he did he took it like a champ. He loves to chase a ball and bring it back to you to throw again. He loves to go for loooooooong leash walks. He needs a home with people that will dedicate time to his daily walks. This guy absolutely loves to explore the back yard and will definitely need a fenced yard. He is working on waiting but still is a BIG Door Darter. He is very excited to GO, GO, GOI! Twinkle is a zesty little sprite of a dog weighing in at less than 8 pounds. She came from animal control after owner surrendering her and another dog. Twinkle is a zesty little sprite of a dog, under two years old and weighing in at less than 8 pounds! She was found as a stray and taken to animal control. While settling into her foster home she had a seizure. But after seeing our vets, we have found a dosage of keppra that has been effective for her and only costs around $15 a month partnered yearly bloodwork. Twinkle loves to play tug with her foster family and their dog and is affectionate towards people. She isn't much of a barker and often seek ear scratches and belly rubs from her foster people. Twinkle also likes to play with her foster family's cat and chase squirrels given the chance. She can entertain herself outside by herself in her foster family's fenced-in yard, but can be anxious alone indoors without a person or another dog. She would do well with a guardian who can work from home and/or has another dog to keep her company when alone. Twinkle is potty-trained and does very well travelling in the car.
