Story
Addie is a 7-month-old female Boxer mix who has already been spayed.  She was an owner turn in because her owner no longer wanted her.  Addie is brown and white; and a strikingly pretty dog.  She weighs approximately 50 pounds so she is a medium sized dog.  At 7 months old--she is still growing so we believe she will be large adult dog.  Addie is very sweet and affectionate.  She craves attention and loves to be near you.  Addie would be fine with other dogs and older children.  She is quite active and playful so she would appreciate a securely fenced yard where she could play.  Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  February 26, 2025, 5:25 pm

Story
Einstein is a 4-year-old male Doberman who must be neutered before adoption.  He is an owner turn in because his energy level was too much for his elderly owner.  Einstein has the typical black and tan markings of a pure bred Doberman; but his ears are not cropped and his tail is not docked.  He weighs 98 pounds so he is an extra large dog.  Einstein is beyond active.  He would need a securely fenced yard where he can exercise; and he needs an owner who is experienced with large dogs.  Einstein is house trained.  He is so strong on a leash it takes a very strong person to manage him.  We would recommend he be an only pet--no other dogs or cats in the home.  We also recommend, due to his size and energy level, that he not be in a home with children.  Einstein is a very handsome dog.  He will be a challenge for his owner; and he needs an adopter who will be devoted to working with him.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  January 30, 2025, 4:57 pm

Story
Jack is a 4-month-old male Catahoula mix who has already been neutered. He, and his litter, were brought in by County Animal Control.  Jack is reddish tan with darker brown markings.  Just look at his adorable ears; and his eyes are greenish blue! Jack loves the great outdoors; and is active, playful, and just plain fun!  We love watching his goofy and silly antics when he plays outside. This handsome fellow will be a great addition to a family with children and other dogs.  Handsome Jack will be a medium sized adult dog who will weigh 50-60 pounds.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  February 27, 2025, 7:42 pm

Story
Lulu is a 4-month-old female Terrier mix who may have some Dalmatian in her mix; and she has already been spayed.  She is an owner turn in because her owner could no longer take care of her.  Lulu is white with a large black dot around her left eye; and she has black speckles all over her body.  She will be a medium size adult dog who may weigh up to 50 pounds.  To say Lulu is active is an understatement!  We could hardly get her pictures she was so squirmy and wanted down on the ground to play!  Needless to say, this little firecracker will add some excited to her new home!  She will keep your children entertained; and she will get along with children just fine.  Lulu would also be good with other dogs.  This is a great little puppy but she will need a nice fenced yard where she can safely play and get the zoomies out of her system!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  February 26, 2025, 5:25 pm

Story
Medusa-“Duse” aka “Dusey Girl” aka “Dufus”. She is a precious bulldog mix and loves to cuddle. She’s about 2 years old. Loves to get her zoomies out running around the yard and will get rid of all the small critters that you don’t want in your house. She is also the best snuggle buddy. She tolerates being in a kennel when needed, and is potty trained to go outside and alerts me when she needs to go. But she does need some general obedience training and someone who can help her get her energy out so she won’t chew. She’s gotten better about chewing since we’ve had her but still has occasional mishaps. She does not do well with children. She is very skiddish around small children and babies. She has shown fear related aggression in the form of growling but has not bitten anyone ever. She would be best suited for a home that does not have children residing there.
