Meet Joey Tribbiani, a young dog who we believe may be a Husky/Shepherd mix.Joey is very friendly, extremely high energy, and looking for an active home. He already knows sit and shake, is very food motivated, and is interested in learning.He is quite jumpy when he gets excited and is still working on his manners. Joey is also a very vocal dog and is not shy about letting you know when he has something to say! Because of his energy level, jumping, and vocal nature, he would do best with a home prepared to continue working on calm behaviour and good manners. While in care Joey jumped a 6' tall fence, so he will do best in a home where he will not be left outside unattended.He would benefit from continued training with an AnimalKind-accredited trainer. Joey will need plenty of exercise, structure, enrichment, and ongoing training.Joey still needs to be neutered before his adoption can be finalized. Because of this, an approved adopter may be able to take him home on a foster-to-adopt basis. This means Joey would live with you as a foster while he waits for his neuter appointment, with the intention of completing the adoption once his required veterinary care is finished. 🐾 Meet Mabel:Mabel is a quiet, gentle girl with a sweet and sensitive nature. She walks beautifully on leash and greets people with a wagging tail, but she is incredibly quiet. In fact, we haven't heard her bark!At times, Mabel seems a little sad or unsure, and we would love to see her find a patient, loving home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and begin to let more of her personality shine.One thing Mabel has made very clear is that stairs are absolutely not her thing! Up or down, she simply refuses. Her future family will need to be prepared to accommodate her stair-free preference while giving her the time and encouragement she needs to build confidence. And she is not fond of cars either.Mabel is a gentle soul who may just need the right person to help her blossom. If you have a soft spot for quiet, sensitive dogs and can offer her patience, kindness, and plenty of love, Mabel could be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️As Mabel is currently awaiting a dental surgery she is available foster to adopt. This means that any potential adopters must be willing to travel to any and all vet appointments until her adoption is finalized. Introducing Espresso: At 9½ years old, Espresso is a sweet and affectionate Yorkshire Terrier cross with a heart full of love and companionship to offer. This lovely lady enjoys being close to her people and is looking for a home where she can spend her golden years feeling safe, comfortable, and loved.Espresso can experience separation anxiety and thrives when she has company throughout the day. Because of this, she would do best in a quiet adult-only home, ideally with someone who works from home or is home for most of the day. She is currently taking medication to help manage her anxiety and has been doing well with this support.One of the keys to Espresso's success is being able to move freely around the house. She is much more comfortable when she can explore her environment and settle where she chooses, rather than being confined to a crate.Espresso is also awaiting a dental procedure later this month. While this means her adoption cannot be finalized just yet, she is available through our Foster-to-Adopt Program, allowing her to begin settling into her new home while she waits for her procedure. Once her dental work is complete, her adoption can then be finalized.Espresso is a gentle, loving companion who is looking for a patient family that understands her needs and can provide her with the stability and reassurance she craves. Meet Princess Consuela, an adult German Shepherd mix looking for an active home to call her own.Princess Consuela is a friendly, very high-energy girl who loves to be involved in what's going on. She already knows sit and is eager to engage with her people.She can be a bit vocal, especially when she is excited or has something to say, so her future home should be prepared for some enthusiastic communication along with all that energy.Princess Consuela has three legs, but she doesn't let that slow her down. She gets around very well and is still an active dog. Having three legs may mean she needs some extra consideration when it comes to mobility and joint comfort as she gets older, but right now she is more than happy to keep moving and exploring.She will need a home that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, structure, and continued training. He is an eager to please, clever goofball that is extremely smart, food motivated- playful & enthusiastic. Freddy is FAST, loves routine and is house trained. He knows the basic cues. Skills include: - did we mention he is FAST! Loves to snuggle with you in bed. Andra is great around children and other dogs. She has basic training. You must know about the breed and have past experience with the breed.
