Story
Sadie is an awesome dog! She is an energetic and sweet 8 month old Belgian Malinios Mix pup. She loves to play tug of war, catch, and loves the water. Sadie is already crate trained, housebroken, and is not a barker! She loves walks, the dog park and trips to the beach. Her breed is a working dog so she loves exercise and mental stimulation daily. She is best suited for an active individual or family. She is good with children and cats; she is currently housed with 2 kids ages 9 and 12, and our old cat puts up with her curious and playful nature. She has had some professional training and is familiar with basic commands such as sit, stay, heel, down, roll over, leave it etc. She is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations. Sadie is a very smart girl and her eagerness to please, treat motivation, and love for all humans make her an exceptional companion and addition to your home.

Story
Junior was a puppy from two of our stellar Livestock Guardian Dogs. He was born late June 2023. He has learned to be a good guardian dog with our sheep. He is still an adolescent and he very much likes to have a playmate, so best case scenario he goes to a home with another dog that he can make friends with. He is very friendly—both with other dogs and with humans. The danger is when he has no one to play with other than small livestock—he might try to play with them and that can be dangerous! Likely he will outgrow that stage, but he is young still. We are downsizing and have too many dogs. I don't think he needs to work with animals, but he has guardianship in his blood. A ranch would be a great environment for him.

Story
Enzo is looking for a forever home with one adult - or two. He does not have anything against children, he just does not think they understand how to interact with him. His perfect home would be with someone who thinks his drool is cute - - and does not mind cleaning it up on a regular basis. Drool is cool - - and slime flys when you are having fun! He adores his walks and, at a little over 6 years old, still really likes to play. Weighing in at 147lbs, he is a big boy, but does not pull on the leash when going for a walk. He interacts well with cats and other dogs. Even if a dog does not like him, he just ignores the other dog and does not engage.

Story
Chai is a wonderful pomsky. We got her from craigslist back in November and has grown to be a huge part of our lives. Unfortunately due to her husky side, she can tend to be loud at times and that didn't go well with our neighbors. She deserves a home where she can have someone with her more than I could and who can give her what she needs. Please let me know if you need any other information from me.

Story
Bert was adopted as a very young puppy after being abandoned in Mexico. He’s a now a 1 year old 80 lb gorgeous mastiff/lab mix, who’s great with all other dogs (neutral to submissive and playful!) and GREAT WITH CATS! He’s wonderful on leash (minimal pulling) and has good recall off of leash. No real prey drive, cuddly sweet and silly. He’s medium energy: he does very well on walks and hikes, but isn’t nutty as a couch potato. He needs a home without young children; he likes his personal space when having a nap (never bitten or come close, but will growl and then move away, and his current home has a young toddler). He is also best with either other dogs or an owner he can be velcro’d to - Bert has a tendency towards (nondestructive) separation anxiety. He would be an incredible dog for: a family with kids over 5, or anyone looking for a big cuddle bug best friend who’s a gentleman with cats and other creatures.

American Pit Bull Terrier Boxer

Story
Waiting over 500 days Meet Gabby, the unique and charming bully mix who's been patiently waiting for her forever home. Gabby is a fascinating blend of 72% American Pit Bull Terrier, 15% German Shepherd, and 13% Boxer - talk about a winning combination! From her Pitty side, Gabby inherited a bit of stubbornness, which makes her like a curious toddler, always testing boundaries. But don't worry, her Boxer playfulness and German Shepherd smarts make her an incredible and fascinating companion! Gabby absolutely adores water! She loves to swim, and having a pool to splash around in would be a dream come true for her. Gabby's journey hasn't been easy; she's been in multiple shelters for over 500 days combined. But we know she just needs the right person to bring out the best in her. To thrive, Gabby requires consistency, and she's been doing great in foster homes. She's seeking an alpha owner who can provide structure and guidance, or even give her a job to do. With the right leader, she'll blossom into the most loyal and loving companion you could ask for. Gabby had the privilege of working closely and undergoing board and train with Chris at Walk n Roll K9. She lived harmoniously with other dogs and even a cat, proving she has the potential to be a wonderful family member. While Gabby is a true delight, we're seeking an adult-only home for her. No kids, as she thrives best in a calm and predictable environment. Are you the special person who can give Gabby the loving and structured home she needs? She's fun, loving, and always ready for any adventure that comes her way. Gabby will keep you on your toes and fill your life with joy and excitement. Help us get this long-time resident out of the shelter and into a loving forever home.
