Story
Sage is a beautiful 10-year-old sable Rough Collie who still has plenty of pep in her step! She loves her walks, enjoys car rides (and even knows how to climb a ladder to get in!), and is great with stairs. This sweet girl is friendly with everyone — dogs, people, kids, and even babies — but she’s not a fan of cats. She adores tummy rubs, chatting with her people, and being part of the action. Sage came to us after her beloved owner passed away, and she’s now ready to find her next forever home filled with love and care. She’s recovering from some minor skin issues, so her adopter will need to help her stay comfortable with regular grooming, clean bedding, good nutrition, and lots of love. Sage is proof that age is just a number — she’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and loyalty to her next family. Is it you???? Go to www.collie.org and fill out an application today! ________________________________________

Muffin: Certified Couch PotatoNot every cattle dog is chasing cows andclimbing mountains. Muffin’s chasing something far more elusive — theperfect nap spot.At just 3 years old, Muffin has already mastered the artof taking it easy. She enjoys short walks (emphasis on short) and believesthat after 10 minutes, it’s time to reflect, rest, and possibly lie down inprotest. Her volunteers have learned to plan routes that end exactly whereshe decides the adventure is over — usually near shade or snacks.Muffin isn’t lazy — she’s efficient. She saves her energy for the important thingsin life: snacks, cuddles, and quality time on the couch. If you’re lookingfor a laid-back companion who’d rather binge-watch than power walk, Muffinis your girl.Adopt Muffin, and gain a professional lounger, world-classcuddler, and the ultimate reminder that sometimes slowing down is the bestway to enjoy the ride.
