Story
Say hello to Pippin, the happy, quirky pup with a big heart! Pippin’s still learning that towels aren’t for tug-of-war (he’s a work in progress!), but he’s eager to please and quick to bounce back. He can get a little anxious in new places but responds well to calm energy and gentle handling. Pippin did great meeting another dog — he was curious and friendly, even when the other pup got a little snippy. He’s food-motivated, good-natured, and just needs someone to help him channel his playful energy into positive fun. Pippin is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. Please email adoptions@hstt.org for more information. *We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each dog based on personality and the behavior we’ve observed rather than a breed label.

Story
Jasmine is a fabulously well mannered gal who’s eager to snuggle up in her cozy forever home. Jasmine is gentle and loving and enjoys quiet moments and peaceful environments. While she can be a bit shy at first, she loosens up and settles in quickly with encouragement, especially when she gets to play in the snow. She loves going on walks and has great leash manners, and does well with other dogs too! Jasmine is a snuggler and you will need to be prepared for her to nudge her head into your hands for affection. She’s still getting used to the big wide world and all of the things in it, and would benefit from a patient and understanding household where she can be allowed time to adjust and settle in. Jasmine is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $150. Please email adoptions@hstt.org for more information. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each dog based on personality and the behavior we’ve observed rather than a breed label.

Story
Meet Bolts! Bolts is an absolute sweetheart with a gentle nature. This affectionate boy is very people-oriented and happiest when he’s soaking up attention or giving it right back. He has lovely manners, takes treats gently, and walks nicely on leash. Bolts is very food-motivated, which makes him eager to learn and a joy to work with. He’s calm, social, and friendly with people. Bolts enjoys relaxed walks alongside other dogs and may just need a little time and practice to learn how to play. He’s curious about toys and is still discovering how fun they can be. Because sudden noises or fast movements can startle him, Bolts would thrive in a patient home that will help him continue building confidence. Above all, Bolts is a gentle, loving dog who simply wants to share life with someone who will appreciate his sweet nature. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who will greet you with warmth and loyalty every day, Bolts is ready to steal your heart. Bolts is neutered, current on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $150. Please email adoptions@hstt.org for more information. *We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each dog based on personality and the behavior we’ve observed rather than a breed label.

Story
I got him from a litter in grass valley when he was 6 months old. He has been a loyal pet and part of our family since then and he has just turned 10. He is an amazing dog, but unfortunately our situation doesn’t allow us to take care of him in the way he needs now. He gets along with kids, but sometimes has anxiety about the loud noises with them. He doesn’t have any aggressive history and is a sweetheart, but has a lot of energy still. Would love for him to go to a loving home that can take him for walks daily and give him the attention he needs.
