Story
Cesar is an amazing, friendly soul who is looking for his forever home. He is the definition of a "velvet hippo" (or "sweetheart")—all he wants in life is to cuddle, spend quality time with his humans, and join you for long naps. The Best Parts About Cesar: • Fully Trained: He is both potty trained and kennel trained. • Kid-Approved: He is incredibly gentle and patient with children; he’ll even head to his kennel when the kids tell him it's time! • Personality: Super friendly, social, and affectionate. The Reason for Rehoming: This is a heartbreaking decision for us. Unfortunately, our first dog has not bonded with Cesar as we hoped. For his happiness and the harmony of the household, we want him to be in a place where he can be fully embraced. If we could keep him, we would in a heartbeat!

Got him from a family friend he is now 7 months old and looking for a home that is able to give him more attention than I can offer he is very energetic loving only thing I do have to mention is his diet if his vitamins aren’t on time he’s not gonna hold anything or if too much food is given to him also won’t be able to hold anything, I would recommend someone with instant access to a yard to think of him

🐾 Meet Husk! 🐾 Husk is a handsome 9-year-old senior Husky looking for a loving home to spend his golden years 💙 This sweet boy has previously lived successfully with another female Husky and may do well with the right canine companion. However, Husk is looking for a cat-free home. Husk enjoys his walks and is a wonderful leash buddy! He had TPLO surgery in 2022 and is currently favoring his other leg, so he’s on light duty while staying comfortable and healthy. The good news? DAWG will be covering Husk’s TPLO surgery post-adoption through Shelter Medical to help get this deserving boy on the road to recovery! ❤️‍🩹🐾 Despite everything, Husk remains full of love and charm. He’s a gentle, affectionate guy who simply wants a cozy home, soft bed, and family to call his own 🏡 Let’s help Husk find the forever home he deserves!

🐾 Still Waiting… Meet Porter 🐾 Porter is still searching for his forever home, and we’re really hoping the right person sees this. 💙 This sweet senior terrier mix has some hearing and vision loss, but don’t let that fool you—he’s otherwise healthy and has so much love to give in his own quiet way. Since arriving at the shelter, Porter has made incredible progress and is slowly learning to trust people. Porter isn’t a lap dog and can get startled when touched, so he’ll need a patient and compassionate home that understands his needs. With time, kindness, and consistency, we truly believe Porter will continue to open up and feel safe. He does well with other mellow, easygoing dogs and would likely thrive in a calm environment. 🐶 ✨ Porter deserves a peaceful, loving place to spend his golden years. Please consider giving this special boy the chance he’s been waiting for—or help him by sharing this post so we can find his perfect match. 🙏💛
