Story
Dexter is a 6 year old pit mix. I recently moved to an apartment and now trying to get him the fulfillment he needs, somewhere with a backyard that he can run around and play and sunbathe. It’s been really hard deciding on this for a while now I do really hope he finds a better home where his needs are met before my own. Thank you. He’s a very sweet boy good with everyone he meets even gentle with kids. He would do better with being the only pet in the house, not good with cats or other animals, good with any female dog not male, potty trained will not pee or poop in the house as long as he’s taken out regularly. He’s very food motivated, super smart, ready to learn anything if given the time.

Story
Hi there. Oh wow. I am so sad to be typing this. I have had my sweet Harlow since I was in high school. She is around 14-15 years old. She has always been the kindest and sweetest little girl. Loves cats. May be a bit timid of bigger dogs since she is smaller but she is a lover. Lumpy bumpy girl but I was told years ago she was cancer free. No changes since. Marked as not up to date as I have been told she is too old for vaccines. Turned down by multiple vets. She is gluten free and love all sorts of foods/treats. Pickles and cheese are her favorites. She has a cloudy eye. Since her sight changed, she does jump a little or seems scared and jolts when a hand comes near but has never ever bitten. I know she truly never would. She loves to be pet. I just want the best home for her and in a condo and a full time job I feel as though she may do better in someone else’s care. I just feel that she may benefit from a backyard and access to going potty when needed in her old age. She is loved!

Story
Goliath is an incredibly intelligent, active and fun 11-month male purebred cocker spaniel. He is on his way to being fully house trained but uses a doggie diaper while inside the house. He is a joy to be around, always ready for a game of fetch or racing around the yard, and loves getting soft kisses and cuddles. He always seems to know when you need a hug. He would adapt well with a family who can give him the attention, care and love he craves. He would benefit tremendously from lots of active play and exercise to keep him from getting into trouble when bored. Goliath has a knack for finding the most curious things to chew on and needs to be reminded not to chew on shoes or pant hems. He is incredibly perceptive, can be shy at times in new environments or when unsure, but is also a great watchdog. He is fully vaccinated for the next year and is in excellent health. He is not currently neutered - we ask that his adopter(s) be willing to wait until he is 2 years old before neutering.

Story
Josie is the perfect companion dog. She loves to cuddle, stay close to her people, and somehow always knows when you’re having a bad day. She’ll quietly comfort you and never leaves your side. She’s afraid of thunderstorms, fireworks, and other loud noises, but when it comes to protecting her home and the people she loves, she’s incredibly brave. She won’t hesitate to alert the house if something seems wrong. Josie truly saved my life, and I will always be grateful for the love, comfort, and loyalty she’s given me. Unfortunately, I’m not longer able to care for her. I’m a single mother with no support and all my attention goes to my baby. I am looking for a safe, loving home where she’ll be cherished as a member of the family.

Story
I am helping my senior parents find a loving new home for their 2½-year-old dog. They purchased her from an AKC breeder when she was a puppy, but due to ongoing medical issues, they are no longer able to provide the care and attention she deserves. Unfortunately, I am unable to take her because I am currently in a graduate program and live in a shared residence where pets are not allowed. She is a sweet, calm, and affectionate dog who loves being around people and other dogs. She enjoys long walks, playing, and socializing, and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to keep her company. She has no aggression toward food, toys, or other objects and has a gentle, easygoing personality. We are looking for a loving, responsible home where she will receive the time, companionship, and care she deserves
