Story
Mr. Pluto is on the hunt for his forever sofa and it very well could be yours. Pluto Potato is around 6 years old. He’s a basset hound mix weighing around 72lbs. He’s a big, sweet boy. He loves toys, belly rubs, naps, and soaking up love from his humans. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and heartworm negative. Pluto is potty trained and while he walks fine on a leash, he is a little lazy and not very motivated to go on walks. This could be due to his healing injuries after being struck by a car right before coming to us, or because he’s half basset (haha). Pluto is not food aggressive, but he’s food motivated. He is currently being fostered with two other dogs and seems to get along well with them, they even share food and water bowls with no issue. He’s also not toy aggressive, and shares nicely, unless it comes to treats. He’ll steal a treat without shame. 🤣 That said, he is very polite and gentle when it comes to taking a treat. Pluto is crate trained, but can be protective of his crate when he’s in there, and will give a growl if you try to get him out before he’s ready. His foster family keeps his crate door open and he goes in and out at his leisure. Pluto does well with people, cats, and other calm dogs. He hasn’t been tested with children, but would likely do well with older kids. He’d be best in a home with a family who want to give him plenty of attention. It’s clear he’s a very loving dog and craves affection. If Pluto is the dog for you, please fill out an adoption questionnaire by visiting AllHoundRescue.org/adopt

Story
Tux is a sweet, smart, and energetic boy looking for his forever home. He’s a little over a year old, up to date on vaccines, neutered, and heartworm negative. He’s around 36lbs, and an absolute joy to be around. Tux gets along great with children, adults, and other dogs. He’s been around cats in both of his foster homes and did well around them. They interest him, but he is easily redirected. In general he’s easy to redirect, and he’s also a great cuddler. Tux loves to play, enjoys the water, and gets a kick out of treeing squirrels. He’s not food aggressive and happily eats right next to one of his foster brothers without issue. He doesn’t exhibit any resource guarding habits. He has not been crated in either of his foster homes thus far. Tux’s ideal home can be with or without other dogs, as he loves being around people and animals. He would benefit from a loving home who understands the importance of consistency. He would do best in a home with an active lifestyle that includes him in all the fun. He would also benefit from a fully fenced yard. Tux is a little guy with a big heart and personality just waiting for his special someone to love, and a home to call his own. If Tux seems like a a great fit for you, please fill out the adoption questionnaire below. AllHoundRescue.org/tux

Story
This is Boba! He’s a 60lb, ten-year-old hound-mix and he’s ready for his forever home. We don’t know what he’s mixed with, but we know he’s a sweet, goofy, adorable guy that’s such a character. Boba is heartworm negative, neutered, up to date on vaccines and taking monthly preventatives. Boba is also potty trained and doesn’t require a crate. He rides well in the car, walks well on a leash and loves going on walks. He loves people - his tail starts wagging when they approach. He’s got a great temperament and really just enjoys hanging out, relaxing and enjoying his people. Boba would do best in a home without cats. He’s currently being fostered in an home with other dogs who are older and don’t pay him much attention. He would be best in an home by himself or with other dogs who aren’t actively trying to play with him. Boba does currently require prescription food. If this wonderful, and silly guy looks like he’d be a great fit for you, please reach out or fill out an adoption questionnaire at AllHoundRescue.org/adopt
