Story
Graham is a two year old, solid bodied 17 pound mix of Chihuahua, German Shepherd, and possible beagle and terrier .  He is beautifully housebroken and crate trained.  His energy level varies from "just chillin" to "crazy puppy zoomies".  He loves to play with his toys and thrives on human attention.  He loves to do nose work and other training.  Very well behaved in the car.  Graham just needs some additional training to help him learn the rest of his puppy manners and get over his fear of strangers, and then he is ready to be your best friend forever.   For more information on Graham, please contact allison@chesed-rescue.org  April 11, 2024, 8:26 pm

Story
Max is adorable, affectionate and loves to be held and cuddled.  He is a 2 year old, 7 pound yorkie-poo who could stand to gain a pound or two.  He is house-broken and well mannered, loves his blankies and toys and has a calm disposition.  And he has gorgeous, thick, black-brown wavy fur. Max is also a spoiled drama queen.  He will tell you what he wants and expects you to do his bidding.  Whether it is sharing your banana, putting on his sweater (he loves to get dressed) or telling you that it is time for a walk, "no" is not really an option.  While he is fine being left home alone for a few hours, he much prefers it when his human servants are there to wait on him. Additionally, Max is a special needs baby.  He was born with a spine defect and two bad knees which sometimes cause him some pain.  He also has IBS.  We are working with 9 different specialists to make him as happy and comfortable as can be.  We would greatly appreciate any donations to help with the cost.  And any potential adopters will need to have the love and financial resources to handle anything that might come up in this boy's future, as we have promised him that his next home will be forever! To read Max's full story, go to www.chesed-rescue.org/Max Adoption applications for Max, as well as a link to our paypal donation page are available at www.chesed-rescue.org.  To donate any other way (check, zelle, gofundme, etc.) or to get more information about Max, please contact allison@chesed-rescue.org.April 11, 2024, 8:26 pm

Story
Oli is the perfect puppy!  He's bouncy and playful and loves to meet new people. He is comfortable with all size dogs and even some cats.  His fosters say he is a total love and is doing great with his housebreaking.  We don't know exactly what type of terrier he is, or who dad is, but mom is under 20 pounds, so we think he will be a small to medium sized dog.   Oli is up to date on all medical and was just neutered. Applications for Oli are available at www.chesed-rescue.org.  All applicants are background and vet checked.  We have a strong preference for home owners and those that can show stability in their living situation. Ideally, Oli would be adopted with his brother, Roman, as these two boys are best friends, but Oli would do great in any home where he gets to run and play and have frequent playdates with other dogs!April 11, 2024, 8:26 pm

Story
Roman is a little snuggle bug who lives to wiggle, wag his tail and give kisses.  Pick him up and rub his tummy and you'll have a friend for life!  He is a terrier mix and we believe he will be around 25 pounds when fully grown.  Roman will be a wonderful family dog and absolutely loves kids. Ideally, he would be adopted with his brother and best friend, Oli, but will do great in any home where he gets to run and play.  He is up to date on all medical and was just neutered. Applications for Roman are available at www.chesed-rescue.org.  We background and vet check all applicants and are looking for adopters that can show stability.  Home owners preferred.April 11, 2024, 8:26 pm

Story
Chico is a 13 year old Maltese boy who currently weighs around 20 pounds.  A total couch potato who likes attention.  He is neutered, but is not currently up to date on vaccines.   This sweet boy needs a little training to make him the perfect pup- he will bark for attention, mark and nip if scared.  Nothing a little training can't fix, but he needs an adopter who has the time and is willing to work with him. For more information about Chico, please email allison@chesed-rescue.org or put in an application at www.chesed-rescue.org.  We background and vet check all applications and are looking for stable homes.   There will be no adoption fee for this boy, but adopter will be required to bring him up to date on medical and do at least three sessions with a trainer of their choice.April 11, 2024, 8:26 pm

Story
Dior is a fun little chiweenie boy, about 3 years old.  He loves to play and gets along well with other small dogs.  He seems to like all people but gets a little nervous when there is too big a crowd.  He has some minor anxiety issues, which we think can be worked through with a little training.  Dior also needs to be brought up on his medical with updated vaccines and a neuter.   He is currently with his original owners and will be adopted directly from them.  There will be no adoption fee (though donations to the rescue are always appreciated), but adopter will have to neuter and vaccinate.  Chesed Rescue will be taking applications and running background and vet checks and facilitating the adoption. Applications for Dior (and his sister, Mia) are available at  www.chesed-rescue.org.April 11, 2024, 8:26 pm
