Story
Norman is a sweet, gentle, and incredible dog. We rescued him from Tri-County Animal Shelter in Boca Raton in April 2021. He originally arrived at the shelter with his brother from Puerto Rico, but they were separated. Norman is a cuddly companion. He loves to snuggle and often sleeps curled up in the crook of my back. He is well-trained, rarely barks, doesn’t have accidents, or damage anything at home. He’s easygoing and friendly. He struggles with being left home alone. He doesn’t act, no destruction, no messes but he anxiously runs between the front door and the window, waiting and watching for his people to return. Because we live above an underground garage he hears that constantly thinking we are returning. Our dog sitter has told us he settles well when he is with the other dogs. We have tried behavioral and medications but we’re not consistent. He would be great with someone who works from home or is retired or additional pets. My partner is moving and I work full time.

Story
Kingston is a lazy, chubby, loyal guy. He was originally rescued by his mom, but since then she’s married his dad who is allergic. He belongs in a home that can give him a lot of attention, since he now has many human baby sibilings with not much time for him. He is very easy going, mellow, does not bark, sleeps in his own bed, and is house trained. He requires daily apoquel, needs weekly baths and brushing. He knows basic commands, loves people, and wants a companion, and more space!

Story
Bentley is a sweet Jack Russell turning 6 this December. Originally from Canada and now in Boca Raton. He is an amazing travel buddy- comfortable in his travel crate, experienced with flights, and very patient on the road. He knows basic commands, walks twice a day, is crate trained, and rarely barks. He loves squeaky toys and getting cozy on the couch (when allowed). Bentley is a naturally nervous and sensitive dog, especially around loud noises, active kids, or unfamiliar people. He was never meant to hurt anyone- he has never broken skin- and when he feels uncomfortable, he gives many warning signs to communicate his stress. With a special-needs child and an infant at home, the current environment is overwhelming for him. ⚠️Bentley would thrive as a companion for an !adult or a family !without children, in a calm and predictable home where he can truly relax and feel secure. He’s loyal, gentle in his own way, and deserves a peaceful environment that matches his temperament.
