Story
Sage is an almost 3-year-old sweetheart who we’ve loved for the past year and a half. Due to moving and housing changes, we’re no longer able to keep her and are looking for the right home where she can continue to thrive. Sage has a gentle, mellow personality and loves being around people. She’s very friendly, does great with children, and gets along well with other dogs. She is house trained and well-behaved and knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and shake. That said, we want to be fully transparent to help find her the best fit: Sage can be an escape artist and has a tendency to run off if given the opportunity, so she will need a secure yard. She does experience separation anxiety, and because of that, she should not be left alone in the house unattended. She would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. Sage is a wonderful dog with so much love to give, and she will thrive in a patient, caring home that understands her needs.

Story
We got Maki from the Idaho Humane Society back in January. They didnt have any information about her, but we took a chance. She’s an amazing dog, she’s smart, great with our smaller dog, great with our kids, loves attention and cuddling. Unfortunately, we have a very busy work life right now, with that we aren’t home as much as we would like, thus we aren’t able to give her the attention she needs and deserves. She would be a perfect fit for a family that is active, and is able to play and interact with her more than we are. It’s extremely hard for us to take this step as we have all grown a strong love for her, but we recognize with us not being able to give her the attention she needs/ deserves all the time isn’t fair to her.

Story
Baylee is the sweetest dog that just loves to be around people, both adults and kids. She was adopted by me from the humane society at about two years old in 2017, so estimate she is around 10 or 11 years old. She is a mixed breed, but appears to be a shepherd of some kind. She has never had any serious health issues, so besides getting older and slower, she is in very good health. She has never exhibited any aggressive behavior towards humans, but can be defensive around other dogs and cats. I assume she was never properly socialized as a puppy. I believe she would thrive in a home where she gets a proper amount of attention. She can be a little anxious at times, so getting some love from humans would really quell her anxiety. She is not, however, high maintenance, in that she can be left alone for hours and be fine at home, but consistent attention would be ideal. A few years ago, I had her professionally trained, so she is very obedient and walks easily.

Story
We are looking to rehome our 1.5-year-old female Labrador Retriever. She is a sweet, social, and affectionate dog who loves people and other animals. She enjoys toys, water, outdoor activities, and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She also loves children, though she can be enthusiastic and is not always aware of her size. She would do best in an active, structured home with a consistent routine, continued training, and plenty of exercise. She has strong retrieving instincts and would likely thrive in a home that enjoys hiking, retrieving activities, or hunting/sporting work. She is a high-energy young lab who responds best to calm, positive guidance. She can be vocal and excitable at times. She is crate trained but may benefit from continued confidence-building and structure. She is allergic to chicken. We are looking for a stable, experienced home able to provide the consistency & lifestyle she needs. We will be thoughtful and careful in selecting the right fit for her.

Story
We got him off an adopted page on Facebook and he has been trained but still has a hard time listening sometimes. He is house trained and crate trained. He will get on the couch if no one is watching him. He is good with cats, kids and chickens! My fiancé has taken him out more and says he does well with dogs but I am not 100% sure how he is with other dogs unleashed. We haven’t had the time or ability to work on socializing him enough. I think he would do well on a farm where he has a lot of room to roam around and maybe some livestock to guard. We need to rehome him because our daughter is allergic to him and her allergies have just gotten worse.
