Sweet 3-Year-Old Neutered Dog! This lovable pup is microchipped and kennel trained, knowing all the basic commands. Up to date on rabies vaccination. He is a friendly soul who adores people and loves to greet everyone he meets. While he does not get along with our other male dog, he does well with some other dogs. He gets along with chickens and cats. He will chase cats if they run but doesnt do anything. He tends to get a bit anxious during car rides, so he prefers staying close to home. A yard for playing fetch would make him very happy!

Story
MEET TENOR & BASS! Would you like a pair of happy-go-lucky and playful dogs who will smother you with kisses, greet you at the door and smile at you much of the day? That's pretty much what you'll get if you foster or adopt Bass & Tenor, a very bonded pair of husky mixes. They are each about 4 years old, rescued from a shelter well over a year ago. We are determined to keep them together because they love each other so much. Bass is brown-and-white and weighs 55 lbs., and Tenor is tan-and-white and weighs 60 lbs. Both boys are active and fun pups who need people on the go! They play with each other for entertainment, but would love to go on walks and hikes or runs! They would thrive with an active person, people, or a family with older kids. They occasionally like to jump up and give kisses, so would do best in a home without smaller children. They are not super friendly with other dogs but will give you all the attention you need as they are so affectionate, loving and loyal. Please email for an application.

He enjoys being petted and brushed and is happy to greet you when you come home. Malphie is always really happy to be with his family. He is grateful for his dinner and any special treats you bestow upon him. We are looking for a stable Adult home who would like having Malphie be part of the family. Story
MEET JAZZ! I'm such a great, happy dog! I'm a 6-year-old pit-lab mix in need of a foster or forever home. I weigh about 55 lbs. There are so many great things about me. I love human attention and affection. I have a cheerful disposition. And I'm the type of dog who will be your best friend. But I'm just one more black dog that found myself at a high-kill shelter, and it's tough to find my person or people. I will do best as the only dog in the home, but I will give you enough love to make up for that. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
Meet Bruno! Bruno is one of the sweetest dogs you could meet. He is 8 years old and in good health. Bruno would be ideal for a retired person who enjoys going for a walk or playing fetch in the yard. He would also do well with a person that works from home. He will follow his person everywhere, and he loves to snuggle. He walks well on leash and knows his basic commands. He rides well in the car and will sit quietly on the back seat. He is good with children and has lived with dogs in the past. He prefers low energy dogs like himself. He doesn't do well with cats. He loves meeting people. He enjoys lying in the sun. Bruno likes to take naps. When he does he snores...loudly! If this will bother you while trying to watch your favorite T.V. show then Bruno is not the dog for you. He does have separation anxiety and takes Fluoxetine daily. The rescue will supply the medication. Bruno doesn't like being left alone and will cry at first and then drool if not given his medication. This is one of the reasons he needs a family who is home most of the time or will include him when they go out. He is crate trained and does best crated if left alone. Bruno is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. If you are interested in Bruno please submit an application to www.takemehomedogrescue.org He is located in Idaho.

Story
I'M GRAYSON, and I'm a great dog! I'm an unique looking Pittie but am handsome in my own right. I have a bit longer nose and some chubby cheeks and my eyes can sometimes look sad. I'm also quite small for a male Pit, about 45-50 lbs. I'm about 4-5 years old now and keep getting overlooked. I love people and have tested well with some other dogs. About a year ago I was diagnosed with a double hip dysplasia, and I just need to be on meds (or supplements) going forward. (Right now I'm over-the-counter glucosamine and am doing great!) I can be a bit touchy on my back hips now and then, so best to just avoid rubbing me there, especially if I'm sleeping. I am starved for human affection, and I love to go on car rides, walks and other outings. I would do best in a quiet home with a single person or couple. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.
