Stubbs is a Corgi, Mini Aussie mix, so he will need brushing to keep the matts from forming. He is VERY social. Loves people, cats and dogs. Will follow you around like a shadow. Great on a leash. Likes to be petted more than toys but will play fetch. Crate trained. Does not like to be alone for long periods of time. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Lenny came to us as an owner surrender. The owner rescued him in August, even though they already had a house full of animals. They decided they just couldn't have one more dog so decided it would be best to find him a new home. Lenny is very sweet and gets along with cats, dogs, and livestock (not a working farm). Lenny has had some basic training. Lenny loves kids and would make a fabulous family dog! Lenny's owners kept his vaccinations up to date and is already neutered, so he is ready for his forever home. Come meet Lenny and take advantage of our Foster-To-Adopt program where you try him out for 2 weeks and then decide if you want to adopt or not. We supply the food, you supply the love and attention he deserves. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Ace came in as a stray, so we are still learning about him. He is timid and shy, like most dogs when they first come into the shelter. We really warms up once we bring in another dog with him. Initially, he seems to like men more than women. Once he has his vet appointment, we will have a better gage of his age. Right now we believe he is about 1 1/2 years old. So far he has not had any accidents in his indoor kennel overnight. With all dogs, you will need to learn their cues that they need to go out and the dog needs to learn your habits as well. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Meet Copper!This handsome 2 year old boy has stolen our hearts with his fun-loving spirit and affectionate nature. Spend just a little time with him, and you’ll quickly see why he’s such a favorite around here.Copper came to us from another rescue after having a tough start in life. He was found abandoned and underweight at a local lake, and while his early days weren’t easy, Copper has shown incredible resilience. With time, patience, and training, he’s blossomed into a bright, playful dog who is ready to find his forever person.Copper is full of energy and curiosity—he loves to run, explore, and make every day an adventure. At our farm location, where he’s been working one-on-one with staff, he’s been learning important life skills like how to relax, how to channel his excitement, and how to be the best companion he can be. He’s come such a long way and is now more than ready to keep learning and growing with his new family.We think Copper will thrive in a home with adults (and maybe dog-savvy teens) who can match his zest for life. He’s done well with other medium-to-large dogs, but because of his prey drive, a home without small animals is best. Copper is happiest with a balance of activity and downtime—he’ll gladly join you on a hike, but he’s equally happy entertaining himself with toys in a fenced yard.And here’s a fun fact: Copper is a massage connoisseur. Head and neck rubs? Absolute bliss.
