Story

My pet was at the Humane Society and was trained then adopted by the previous owner who re-homed him to us. Mookie is seven years old and has been great. My kids are older and we live in an apartment now so it is not the best situation for him. I would describe him a loving, playful, sweet, protective, reactive to other male dogs at times, loves to go on trails and good off leash, listens, knows how to heel, likes to chase squirrels, loves affection, enjoys car rides, loves to swim, great. He is very good. He does like all the affection so I would say he would be great as the only pet. He can get along great with another pet in the home, only he loves people more than pets. He's good on a leash and can be reactive with other male dogs. He's sensitive to things like his paws being squeezed or stepped on.

Story

I purchased him from a seller out of the TJ Maxx parking lot. He was 3 months old when I acquired him. He’s a super loving dog that loves attention and affection. He’s 10 months old now, and has lots of energy. He follows basic commands like “sit, down, stay, wait, and ok go.” He’s really good with kids. I have 4 kids from 3-14 and have not had any issues. He does jump when he gets excited sometimes. Haven’t been able to break that habit fully. He’s crate trained and semi-house trained. He’s great with other dogs, he just gets excited at first. He loves to be surrounded by the family or in other words “the pack.” I would love for him to go to a home where he will receive the proper care and attention. I hate to see him go but it would be selfish of me to keep him due to my busy and demanding schedule. He deserves somewhere he can be loved and have more freedom.

Maggie is 2.5 yes old. She is absolutely wonderful. I have come into some health issues and can't take care of her. She is a healer mix, people tell me that she has shepherd and brindle in her. I'm 4'11. She comes up to my waist. She's about 55lbs. She would be smaller with a lot of exercise. She loves the water, other dogs, people, cats. She has two sisters of her own. They don't snuggle. Maggie wants to play, cats don't care. She is crate trained. Maggie just needs a place where she can and just be a dog. She does better off leash than on. She knows a lot of commands, but needs help with other. She's very smart and loveable. She a big lap dog. There are so many great things to say about her, none are negative.

We are unfortunately needing to rehome our sweet Ladybird. She will be 2 years old in January and she is a Golden Retriever/Cattle Dog mix (along with a few other breeds!) She is spayed and all of her shots are up to date.She is a happy, goofy, affectionate, and excitable dog who does well with other dogs and children, but unfortunately she does not do well with cats due to her prey drive. An ideal family would have lots of land for her to play! Ladybird has learned so much in the year that we have had her, and loves to do tricks for treats. She is still working on learning a solid recall, though.Ladybird doesn't have any allergies that we know of and is a very healthy girl, aside from being slightly cross-eyed which makes her all the more lovable!Because this isn't an urgent rehoming situation, we would like to meet with anyone interested at least two times before making a final decision. Ladybird is a very special girl who deserves a very special family 🩷
