Story
Naa was born on Oct. 11 2022. Her AKC litter number is SS373388. Nala is a very sweet girl who needs someone or a family who will make her an extension of themselves or their family. A fenced yard would be a plus for Nala. She loves to be outdoors but has a tendency to wonder. We live on 5 unfenced acres, and it is very hard for us to be outside as much as Nala would like to be and pay attention to her. We love our sweet Nala, but more importantly we love her enough to let her go to someone or a family who can give her the time, pets, love and attention she deserves. Our kids are growing older, and our schedules take us away from home more and more and poor Nala is left behind. She will be your shadow and will sleep side by side with you if you let her. Adjectives that describe Nala- Sweet Docile Loving Companion Goof Ball

Story
Gizmo is an 11 month old Shih-tzu Maltese mix who is fun, loving, and outgoing. He's energetic and loves dogs, cats and people alike! He's a wonderful walking buddy and will happily join you on any adventure, but has a passive and easygoing personality with other animal buddies. He is in need of a home w/ older children and/or another dog to play with, and to avoid being home alone all day. Special accommodations: he has been treat trained to be comfortable with both hand and electric trimmers, and his long hair requires frequent sanitary face and rear end trims. Upon Adoption, Gizmo will come with: Leash & harness, toys, food, electric clippers, winter and rain coats, dog bed, blankets and couch stairsP.S: Loves a good run with a laser pointer! :)

Story
Hank is a lover and amazing companion. He loves to lay on the couch, eat snacks, and sunbathe! He LOVES people so much that he wants butt scratches and kisses from everyone! He loves his stuffy that he can suckle on day and night…it’s like his binky! He is house trained and just went through training school to improve his walking on leash skills! Hank does love his own space so he needs a home with no other animals and no young children (older children are fine!) Hank has had no medical issues, is neutered, and in great health. He may be 9 years old but he still acts young! He needs a family that can be a couch potato with him but also keep him walked and exercised. Needs a secure yard as he is a wanderer

Story
This sweet girl is Mocha. I recently adopted her just 10 days ago and while I would love more than anything to keep her - but I don't have the proper funding to get her the training that she needs. She was found as a stray so her history is unknown, but she was clearly not introduced to this world properly and struggles with meeting new people. She barks and lunges out of fear/anxiety at new humans and I am worried that this could turn into a situation where my roommates don't feel safe or I am unable to have new people at my home. While she has been incredibly sweet to me since day one of meeting her at the shelter, I have come to find out that it is very common practice for shelters - especially IHS - to give this more anxious dogs calming drugs to make them appear more adoptable. If you have the resources to build her confidence with professional help, I urge you to consider taking her into your home. I will provide all of items I have for her in addition to the free adoption.

Story
We adopted Dunkin as a puppy in 2020, while living in Salt Lake City. He grew up with other dogs and does great! He makes friends with other dogs and is very playful. Like most Labs, Dunkin lives for food. He is extremely food motivated, which is great for training purposes. We recommend not leaving any food unattended around him. He is playful and high energy, but also can be very chill and loves to lounge. He loves to be comfortable. His favorite spots include sleeping next to the fireplace or on the couch. Dunkin loves his people and is very loyal. Dunkin has been an amazing part of our family, but unfortunately, life circumstances have changed, and we cannot give him the life he deserves. We will be extremely picky with who we rehome him to, as he is a very loved member of our family.

Story
Looking for the perfect home for our sweet Maltipoo ❤️ This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but we’re looking to rehome our 7-year-old male Maltipoo to a home that’s the best fit for his needs. He is a loving, cuddly little guy who enjoys being close to his people, but he also struggles with anxiety. When he’s feeling nervous or overwhelmed, he may mark indoors or nip/bite out of fear. Because of this, he needs someone who understands anxious dogs and is willing to be patient, consistent, and give him the reassurance he needs. He generally does well with other dogs, but I think he would truly thrive as the only pet in a calm home where he can get lots of love and attention. He has been around children, but because he can nip when he’s anxious, I think an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy children would be the safest fit. This decision has been heartbreaking, and I’m committed to finding him the right family—not just the first one.
