Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Jumping for joy James!! This happy go lucky boy is so fun and knows no stranger! To top it off, he has excellent manners (minus the jumping for joy), knows all basic obedience and LOVES walks/runs with the kids! He absolutely loves other dogs and we want to see a canine buddy in his new home, perhaps one with good, playful energy but able to walk away from his playfullness and enjoy basking in the sun too. The two dogs in his foster home have this mastered perfectly with him, the rug her amount of play balances the best amount of rest for everyone.    James truly is the perfect family pup, great size, crate and housetrained, or perhaps an agility dog-he has the energy, drive, and smarts for that too! Wow his new person/family is in for the best boy! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 20, 2024, 7:52 pm

Story
Indiana (Indy, Dr. Jones, Indiana Jones, Phd) is about a 9 month old puppy that was dumped on our road in June and showed up at our house covered in wounds and fly bites. We took her to the vet and had her cleaned/stitched up, and was found to not have a chip. After her stray hold we had her spayed and vaccinated. Unfortunately, our old queen bee of a dog does not like other dogs which has caused some problems. Indy is VERY food motivated and has been very quick to learn commands. We have taught her place, crate, stay, sit, down, and she does very well on walks and sits when you stop walking. She absolutely loves to be near people, and sleeps in our 9 year old son's bed. She would do best in a home without other dogs or maybe a male dog. She showed no reaction to the cats in our vet's office other than mild interest in sniffing them. She does try to chase cars a bit on walks still. We have also trained her on our wireless proximity fence. She's a great puppy who deserves a great home.

Story
The previous owner was moving, my daughter asked me if I could take her. She’s very mellow, hasn’t ever bitten or even attempted to be mean. I have pre teenaged grandchildren and they all like her. She’s good with my cat and they even snuggle together. I keep food and water always in her bowls and she eats as needed. Never, ever does she attempt to get food off my counters. She ignores it all, only her food. She’s very gentle and would make a great addition to a family that can walk her daily, socialize her and bathe her which my health does not permit me to do. Thank you for considering Ivy.

Story
My daughter gave me Gibson because she had too many pets. Gibson is very gentle, never shows any aggression at any time. He chase’s the cat but doesn’t hurt her if she gets close to her, mostly wants to play. I have teenage grandchildren and they get along well with him. Gibson will find a comfortable spot in any room, just give him a cozy bed and he’ll find his happy place right there. Does not bother food or anything on cabinets, ever.
