🐾 Looking for a Foster or Permanent Home for My Dog, Ranger 🐾 I’m looking for a loving permanent home or a foster for at least 3 months for my dog, Ranger. I don’t want to give him up, but I’m currently in a living situation that doesn’t allow pets, and I’m unsure when I’ll be able to move somewhere that does. Ranger is a 1-year-old neutered male — a mixed breed (35% American Staffordshire Terrier, 22% German Shepherd) — and he’s up to date on all vaccines. He’s house and crate trained, full of energy, and very affectionate. Ranger would do best in a home with older children since he doesn’t always realize how big and strong he is. He loves to play and thrives on attention, exercise, and companionship. I’m located in the Lee County area and am hoping to find someone nearby who can help care for him — whether temporarily or long-term — until I can provide a stable home again. DJ is an 5 year old unknown mixed breed. We believe he is partially Rhodesian Ridgeback. We rescued him as a puppy in 2020. He is very well behaved and has a calm temper. He loves kids and has never nipped an anyone. Crate and house trained, food motivated, very strong and tends to pull on a leash so he could use some work in that area. He knows sit, lay down, and takes treats gently from your hand. He has never been around other animals so he would probably do better in a home without other animals. We are looking to re-home him due to our very busy schedules. We are gone all day and most nights due to sports schedules. We are not able to give DJ the attention and exercise he deserves. We want to find a him a loving forever home.

He came to us from a high kill shelter when he was not claimed in 2 days, that was the time limit. We love his houndy personality! He is just a silly boy! He is super calm for walks and doesn't seem to have an issue with cats. He is a bigger boy, but we do not see him being too much for kids.
