Story
Daisy is a female lab shepherd mix that is approximately 5 years old. We adopted her from the shelter in February 2023. Daisy is spayed, up to date on shots, and heart worm negative. She is good with kids and other animals. She has a high play drive and only guards food around unfamiliar dogs. She is very protective of her space and will bark at anybody who gets close to the house, so she makes a good alarm dog. She does have a high amount of anxiety with new humans near her people so introductions in her home environment should be slow. Typically she is okay once she has been offered a hand to sniff and/or a treat. Daisy has a loud bark that can be scary to small children but she has never bitten anyone. Daisy knows basic commands and is treat motivated. Daisy is house trained but will have an accident if she gets overly excited or anxious by passerby too close to home. The ideal environment for her would be somewhere with a yard she can run and low foot traffic area.

Meet Brady! He’s a sweetie! He is very playful with a fun personality. He loves to cuddle and great with kids. Brady is kennel trained and will even go to his kennel on command. He is house trained but asks to go out by just standing at the door, so you do have to pay attention to that. He enjoys playtime, walks, and running in the yard. He is good with other dogs. He is working on tricks and is learning quickly. Brady would make a wonderful family dog or a one on one best friend! (Born April 2025)

Story
Do you want a family dog but think you don’t have the time? Ava is the perfect dog for your busy family! At 7 years old, she already has the basics down and is quick to learn the daily routines. She’s potty trained and can be trusted to be left alone for hours, peacefully napping until her humans get home. Don’t let her age fool ya, she’s still got energy for daily tug-a-war and loves a round of fetch. She doesn’t need much, but loves the attention when she gets it. She is very persistent about going at her own pace when on a leash, and at 60lbs she’ll need a leaseholder that can help guide her. She loves children and will give kisses to any face that comes into range. Note that, she is on a hydrolyzed protein diet due to food allergies, so she may do better in a home with older children that understand no table scraps. Must be an only dog and unsure how she is around cats. This loving couch potato is ready to claim your lap as her own.

Story
Audrey was found with 2 other mommas sharing the care of 17 total puppies living under an abandoned trailer. There is no telling how many puppies she birthed and/or raised in her life and we are happy to tell her there will be no more and she will have comfort & safety for the rest of her days. ❤️ Audrey is a sweet girl that is a little hesitant to trust, but likes existing around people & other dogs. Are you the one to show Audrey what family & love really is? Audrey finishes her heartworm treatment at the end of March and will be available to go to her furever home then.

Story
Sweet MAEVE is proof that learning to be loved after so many years and disappointments can take a bit. We are not out of the woods but we are getting close! Maeve means "the cause of great joy" and I am hoping that she will be someone's greatest joy til the end of her days. Also, her pure joy still shines through even after people have let her down so horribly. We are waiting on blood work. She does have a heart murmur (not unusual in an older dog). She has gained some much needed weight and best of all.....she was released for a BATH. I love giving a foster the first bath in rescue. You can see the calm and change as their old life is washed away making room for a fresh new start. Maeve enjoyed the warm water and the oatmeal shampoo. She is now snoring on her bed! More to come!
