Story
Meet Ivy ! This shepherd, possibly Doberman, mid is a beauty! She’s approximately 6-8 months old is crate trained, potty trained, except when she meets new friends, she gets the excited pees. After a couple days of the same old people those go away! Ivy is great with all dogs, kids, and cats too! She’s an excellent listener and is very motivated to please her humans! She loves snuggling and is hoping to find someone who loves it just as much as her! Ivy would prefer a home with no adult men most of the time as they seem to scare her based on past trauma. She absolutely thrives in a home with a mom or moms and is great with kids, cats, and dogs!

Story
Looking for a unicorn… Viola is a 6yr old bichon frise who is looking for her fresh start in life 🐾✨ She is cat and dog friendly and would prefer a home with at least one other dog to feel most comfortable. She is quite shy and reserved when it comes to new people but warms up to new animal friends quickly. She loves snuggling with the other dogs in her foster home and playfully running around the yard. She is potty trained and willingly goes in and out with the other dogs. Her ideal home will need a a fully fenced in yard as she is very skittish around people and will run away if startled. She has severe separation anxiety when isolated from the other dogs in her foster home but does well outside of her crate when left out with the other dogs unsupervised. Her foster home is working on training her to be more confident and comfortable by herself. She will need a patient home that is willing to continue helping her with her anxiety. She follows her foster humans very closely and can pose as a trip hazard because of how close she gets underfoot. She’s not a huge fan of being pet or picked up but will stay nearby and is feeling a tiny bit more comfortable around people every day. She does good for grooming and has high maintenance grooming needs. She will need professional grooming monthly as well as frequent brushing and combing at home to maintain her current hairstyle. Viola will be available for adoption this spring

Story
Do you want a family dog but think you don’t have the time? Ava is the perfect dog for your busy family! At 7 years old, she already has the basics down and is quick to learn the daily routines. She’s potty trained and can be trusted to be left alone for hours, peacefully napping until her humans get home. Don’t let her age fool ya, she’s still got energy for daily tug-a-war and loves a round of fetch. She doesn’t need much, but loves the attention when she gets it. She is very persistent about going at her own pace when on a leash, and at 60lbs she’ll need a leaseholder that can help guide her. She loves children and will give kisses to any face that comes into range. Note that, she is on a hydrolyzed protein diet due to food allergies, so she may do better in a home with older children that understand no table scraps. Must be an only dog and unsure how she is around cats. This loving couch potato is ready to claim your lap as her own.

Story
Sweet MAEVE is proof that learning to be loved after so many years and disappointments can take a bit. We are not out of the woods but we are getting close! Maeve means "the cause of great joy" and I am hoping that she will be someone's greatest joy til the end of her days. Also, her pure joy still shines through even after people have let her down so horribly. We are waiting on blood work. She does have a heart murmur (not unusual in an older dog). She has gained some much needed weight and best of all.....she was released for a BATH. I love giving a foster the first bath in rescue. You can see the calm and change as their old life is washed away making room for a fresh new start. Maeve enjoyed the warm water and the oatmeal shampoo. She is now snoring on her bed! More to come!

Story
Meet Lady 💛 Lady is an 8–10 year old low-rider queen with a heart of gold and the sweetest soul you could ever meet. This gentle girl may have a little arthritis slowing her down, but don’t let that fool you—she’s still got some pep in her step and plenty of love to give. She’s wonderful with other dogs and has a calm, easygoing presence that makes her a perfect companion. Lady is housetrained and does best with potty breaks every 2–4 hours during the day, though she sleeps through the night like a pro. One of her absolute favorite pastimes? Sitting outside and watching the world go by. Whether it’s soaking up the sunshine or keeping an eye on the neighborhood, she’s happiest just being near her people and enjoying the simple things. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, slightly goofy little lady to share your days with, Lady might just be your perfect match.
